Will India revive the radical left?

Will India revive the radical left?
Will they succeed in building a worker's paradise?
Why or why not?

So much for the tolerant left.

Pic related is Kerala

I've high for India actually

*high hopes

i do not want india to end like china

already is worse than china. i have to remenber you the defecation problem.

The Kerala model could spread across India if they cooperativized everything and instituted their own version of Cybersyn. US can't possibly pull off a successful coup in India, especially if stuff's decentralized as it goes along. Getting anything done elsewhere will be tough with the immense bureaucracy, though.

Nice. India is very rich, technologically advanced country with hundreds of millions of starving workers, If they would pull of successful socialist revolution this US vs Russia meme would easily change to India vs China

Fingers crossed comrade

The problem is that India is probably the most diverse country in the world with hundreds of languages, religions and regional cultures. It might become a bit of a clusterfuck. At least they all speak English but that isn't very popular amongst Maoists because muh anti-imperialism

If China agitated against a socialist India they'd denounce the last bit of ML that's left in them. I haven't entirely given up on China yet, as their economy isn't really free market capitalism as isn't a commodity and enterprise is often restricted to the right of usufruct instead of private property rights. And the state holds all the shares in the key industry. Socialism is still possible there when comrade Xi pulls the trigger

land isn't a commodity*

Jeez what's wrong with me today

Maoism is not radical left. Maoism is not even left. Maoism is off in its own world where math and science are imperialist, but apparently it's fine to call it "scientific socialism".

lmao

I'm a democratic socialist, but I use this flag to expose how ugly Holla Forums really is. Hating your allies is truly disgusting.

...

Maoists aren't the only group, are they? Man, I really need to get working faster on that in-kind calculator to change that!

I don't see why each community can't manage itself and why things can't be decentralized. The constitution being drawn up for a united Latin America could be modified for India by including specific provisions for each community's self-management instead of regional division into autonomous council-based cantons along Latin America's existing borders.

Aren't some groups like the Bengali most of the population alongside a smattering of tiny ones, though?

IDK much about Maoism other than "lol sparrows" and how crazy its supporters frequently are, but if it's anything like MLism's centralized state control, I wouldn't call it socialism. I'm unsure after hearing about how local councils kind of managed themselves during the Cultural Revolution (with disastrous results), although maybe I'm misunderstanding this whole Mass Line thing. Whether it meets the criteria of "an economic system defined by social ownership and democratic control of the means of production" is difficult to tell because so many Maoists would rather go on about anti-imperialist idpol than explain how it works in concrete terms.

APOLOGIZE FOR HER!

Socdems are fascist enablers.

Rosa never existed.

They are. The goals are identical. Your unwillingness to accept this fact is why you will never gain power over them and will always be seen as fringe.

Said a nazibol.

A FUCKING ROSE

I'm sorry I personally murdered Rosa with my own hands. It's just funny to watch you go crazy just from a flag despite me not being a social democrat, but a democratic socialist.

Difference? You just switched around 2 words! The only demsoc who actually did what he offered was Allende, and he was a Marxist!

I am a Marxist.

Then don't use that flag. Just use the generic red one. The legitimate socdems who post around here with that flag are awful.

Meme flags deserve meme responses tbqh

But I am for social democracy, especially in the United States. It's the best way to wean Americans off of the ideology that any system with "social" in the title is going to genocide them.

So is Europe, that's not really problem when it comes to producing stuff and India should choose it's official language and problem is solved within one generation.
Well I wouldn't count on China's support, I'm not sure how would they benefit from strong India.
But yes, they didn't bought into neoliberal meme and kept their choice to go back to planned economy.

I'm not sure if you can afford decentralization during the revolution while rest of the world is capitalist.

Social democracy is the only "social" system that the United States can transition to without everyone having a collective heart attack at the moment.

I'm starting to renege on hardline revolution as a goal. I just don't see it happening. If there's already a model in Kerala, why not modernize it with cooperatives based around in-kind planning and connect them to cooperatives in other areas of India run on the same principles while simultaneously advocating the model in local politics and unions demand concessions from capitalists, making their businesses unprofitable?

If a revolution does break out, create a General Union Of Anarchists as described in "Organizational Platform Of The Libertarian Communists" to lead the military forces and direct things. We're not unorganized hippies like OWS and antifa.

The left is strong where there is a strong industry and high literacy.
While they debased ours and left us with high literacy, thrid-world coutries like India got a metric fuckton of sweatshops.
China has already successful workers uprising, the West was unable to capitalise (unlike Tibetans and Uighurs), because these workers were commies too (even worse than the Party. One of the more shallow reforms was that party members are required to address each others with "comrade" again) but as a result, Western companies started moving away to SEA countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and so on, leaving a middle class behind who find themselves in high demands, like the ones in the Western countries do.
But since then China underwent a belated Westernisation, so they actually started building sweatshops in other countries on their own for their own companies, mainly in Africa, which was firmly in Western hands, but ignored and due to their immense arrogance snatched away by China.
Unlike Western countries, who just paid off warlords to ensure the delivery of raw materials like Diamonds, Uranium and Coltan (the thingies that make your mobile phone work) China is bringing real infrastructure to this region and Africa as a whole is undergoing what China did around 20 years ago.

This has 2 interesting aspects.
1st: Western countries won't watch from the sidelines. Countries, where they operate more openly, like in Uganda, which is basically a playground for radical US evangelicals, where they basically drive a campaign to raise anti-Chinese sentiments. It could end in the West sicing warlords after Chinese sweatshops, which probably will be rebranded as "a conflict for Water resource control".
2nd: Since Africa is beginning to go the way of China, they may end up like China, at a point, where loyalty to nations, tribes and clans (and warlords) become irrelevant due to their own working conditions in the sweat shop and where they actually may overlook idpol for working rights issues.
They may actually end up with their own working class, but unlike China, they won't have their own Africa to exploit, since SEA and LA (where China is also active) face a similar dilemma.

Bump

...

Land and real property are slowly being privatized though. You can now outright own some commercial and most residential properties. Real estate speculation by the propertied class is huge

They just had the largest strike in human history last year.

Along with the Naxalbari and the neighboring Prachanda government this gives me a lot of hope for that region.

Fuck that'd be so Based if they could pull it off.

I could actually see it sparking some very serious class struggle in China, the memory of Mao and the Cultural Revolution is still very alive, as well as the bitterness towards Dengists, I could see this happening.

...

Holy shit that was a banger

I'll start

DESIGNATED

Honest question, and I apologize for being so uninformed, but is Karala in any way associated with the Naxalites?

>>>Holla Forums

No, it isn't. Kerala's run by MLs and in the southwest. Nonviolent… at the moment. Naxalites are Maoists and are in the east.

Yes, but do they have any kind of broad coalition with one another? Are they in support of one another's theories or praxis? Do they have any sectarian squabbles?

Not if by paradise you mean pooing in loos.

This is like giving them pepe and milk.

Awful definition, unless you wanna bring up the whole coops = socialism joke again.

We should really should bomb the place to dust though.

Boom, fixed

jesus christ tankies are beyond saving

very leftist, totally not Holla Forums

The joke isn't about the poverty in India. It's about an Indian poster that had the typical hunger for superpower at all costs mentality, the ultimate class-cuckery. It's what people make fun of Americans for. Please remember to have a sense of humor. I'm going to drop this now because I don't want to derail the thread more.
