so all the "Stalin did nothing wrong" & Mao / Castro / Best Korea worshipping are ironic LARPing right? Or does Holla Forums actually have tankies?

If tankies actually exist on this board, do you guys care to explain how you justify being a tankie?

Castro was pretty good honestly. Don't know enough about Russian/Chinese history to say about them, but North Korea is a shithole

they are a very small yet very loud minority

The Great Leap Forward was shit, Mao excelled at guerrilla warfare more than anything.
The DPRK is more enjoyed because it's the garbage disposal America is perpetually tempted to stick its hand in.
Castro apologized for most of his fuckups. He was hardly a tankie.
Stalin gets more shit than he deserves, as the majority of the deaths under his watch would have happened under a Tsarist regime or an early capitalist society.

This is what some utopians have inferred by being the only people naive enough to fill in a google docs page on a compromised website under watch by the FBI as a targeted group in America.

It's mostly unironic.

The supposed "crimes" of these great men are fabrications made by bourgeois propagandists. Stalin did not kill millions, neither did Mao. Nobody in their right mind would purposely orchestrate a famine.

Castro shouldn't be in the same list as the rest, tbh. I'm not even a tankie and I can see that.

Tankiddies are a small, loud minority. Going by censuses, they're outnumbered by four other groups.

What exactly did Stalin do wrong? Other than letting revisionists ruining the Soviet Union and Communism after his death

basically this

It's ironic until nobody realizes its ironic anymore and it starts being sincere.

...

Tankies usually win.

You'll never see a successful anarchist society or war because they're incapable of it.

Except for the basic education, this is all capitalism at work.

Except for several other things on the short as fuck list, yeah you're totally right.

I'm a leftcom and even I think he was based.

That's not how it works. I don't have to justify anything as long as you don't level a specific accusation against me

Forgot flag

There. Fixed.

...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Who are you, Kant?

Yeah, they always were successful at establishing state capitalism where they gained power. Communism not so much, though.

Meanwhile, you figured it all out?

Yup. Castro is the least hateable of the tankies. Still, fuck Castro.

anti-"Stalinists" play directly into the hands of anti-communists and the bourgeoisie.

Well

Honestly, I don't know how somebody could not like Stalin just as a historical figure. Great mustache, noble character, helper of the poor and phenomenal military leader.

I unironically like Castro

J U S T

...

Castro is unironically good though.

Castro was good. Fuck off.

I don't uncritically support stalin/mao/castro or the states that evolved in their wake but I don't feel the liberal impetus to hypocritically revile them for their mistakes or faults either.

if you can read this thank a teacher

if you can read this in english thank a Stalin

...

Literally on the level of right wing conspiracy theorists who say the world is already socialist because da gubbanmint does bad things, unions exist and technically the workers can buy shares of their workplaces.

Can you not read? It clearly states that the workers planned the economy and that they had all the power in the workplace.

I used to hate Stalin, but I've been coming around to him recently. He clearly didn't orchestrate a famine, and there were reactionaries that needed gulaging. Maybe he went too far, but then again, revisionists took the helm after his leave.

How many of those peoples communes survived past the great leap forward I wonder.

I gotta go with the tankies on this one. shoots self
Russia had had famines regularly for the past 1000 years. In fact, it was only Stalin's mechanization of agriculture which ended these famines for good, the last one occurring in 1946 and never since. Plus, he industrialized the country while doing this and made it into the world's second largest economy, which is saying a lot.

He should still be criticized for maintaining state capitalism under the name of socialism and not bringing back democratic soviets once it became clear that the revolution wasn't spreading and not letting workers manage their own firms where possible, but "muh gorillions" isn't a good argument. It's just not honest.

No it wasn't. It added fucking 20 years to the average lifespan in China.

I thought that was the Cultural Revolution.

a lot probably are unfortunatly.
I unironically support DPRK and the Juche ideology thought

we got tankies and a lot of people, including myself who are sympathetic towards these people. the only one of the ones mention i don't like is true korea.

stalin did the best he could, the famine was bascially as meme states. lenin was better, but the USSR was much better than the empire.
mao did a lot of good, is a lot of proganda and shit, dude could't control the weather
castro is maybe the best one of them, cuba had it pretty hard and that is mainly USA's fault
