Becoming well-informed

what links do you guys use to follow politics? divide by topic or add a summary if you can

irrussianality.wordpress.com
quickly becoming my go-to place for Russia-related shit, very critical of mainstream news coverage of Russian affairs and US/Nato policy towards Russia

attwiw.com
lefty dude covering MENA stuff, regular chapo guest

thenextrecession.wordpress.com
economist writing on a lot of economic topics from a marxist perspective

also I'm only now realising the value of reddit when it comes to following something specific, so I'm getting into /r/YemeniCrisis and /r/syriancivilwar. Any other suggestion would of subreddit to follow would be cool.

I watch nothing but Comrade Cenk.

Though his mastery of dialectical analysis, I now know that you need a mix of socialism and capitalism, too much socialism could become communism which could lead to Marxism, also the Armenian Genocide never happened.

I subscribe to the Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, The Economist and the Financial Times

Any good sites on environmental issues? Most articles I see are just saying how we're going to be saved by porky cause renewabe prices are going down.

I wait for the leftypol newsfag to post

jacobinmag.com

I don't read leftist or right wing because hurr skeptic. I don't want to live in a leftist echo chamber tbh. IMO sites who focus in geopolitics are less partisan.

I like this ones.

I think the secret to keeping up with and deeply understanding national and global events is not closely following the news, but having the right framework and background knowledge to interpret the news through.

Eventually, your skills will become so honed you don't need to spend much time reading the news or thinking about it to get a significant understanding because you already know how this shit goes.

I'm not an expert at it, but I get better every week.

greanvillepost.com is pretty based tbh

Economic Update
Jimmy Dore is actually a pretty good news aggregator.
I always try to keep up with what Chris Hedges is saying, either on his silly RT show or in interviews.

Is Jimmy okay? This isn't normal.
