Don't worry, I would never move to Portugal unless it was for love, and even then only if it involved a beach. I have French and English citizenship, so if I ever moved to Europe it would be to France.

PCP has generally maitained its votes in the past 10 years, but they are smaller when compared to 75-76.
They are very far from being a revolutionary party, it's basically just propaganda.
the socialists (PS) are socdems at best and more often than not are liberals; the communists (PCP) are socialists at best (I'd say hardly ever) and socdems generally. left bloc (BE) is the same but with more idpol (which is frustrating, as it often tarnishes their platform). PSD (socdem in name only) has dropped all pretences of being anything but liberal and CDS (centrists in name) is liberalism with social conservatism and some few idiot monarchists.
