Memeing aside, what I like about Juche is how, in an almost dialectical inversion kind of way, armed with Juche the DPRK appears as the sole defender of secular humanism and the legacy of the enlightenment against an increasingly obscurantist and relativist post-modern West. Of course it can be argued this is pure lip-service and "hurr they don't really believe it durr muh cleanest race" but still, I find it almost poetic, this one tiny nation, irrelevant as it may appear, fighting the good fight alone with the rest of the world either complicit on imperialist agression or looking the other way. It really is fascinating.
