I am with you user, my problem is finding someone who won't screw you over to make it work. I'm not sure a lot of women in my area are looking to be with someone in that way and actually see them as equals. Goes for guys as well. I personally have a hard time meeting anybody as it is. Having strong family connections is great. Anything can happen and you know that there are people who will hold you if shit seriously hits the fan. My brothers are currently too small for help (they are still at High School), but there are two cousins and two uncles (from my father side) I know I can rely on if something seriously bad would happen.

Life changes a lot when you get kids. Try to consider joining church, just because you understand how ideology works doesn't mean you can't enjoy and benefit from one. Christian principles are perfect to achieve good balance in life (if you don't live in area where only most rulecuckery catholics or orthodoxs are).
