Good, it's a purification by fire. Along with the west dies liberalism and capitalism, the pillars of technocratic Atlanticism. The west will die so that the world may live. And with the death of the west ancestral forms of living will reemerge. It won't be your gommunism but it will be better than liberal post-modern society.

Capitalism will kill itself because is capitalism. Communism will win (?) if done right.

We literally just have to achieve automation, possibly invent replicators, remove the excess carbon from the atmosphere, and we should be pretty close…

More like JUST. We are very far away from all of that and might never achieve some of it. Not to mention that automation might simply just accrue to a tiny elite.

The late Roman Republic went through a period of rapid automation too, when the wars in Greece and against the Cimbri and Teutones caused an overabundance in slaves. But the result of that was that life for the common Roman got worse, not better, while the elites became phenomenally wealthy, precipitating the collapse of the Republic into civil wars. Automation will doom us before it saves us.

There is something really incredibly bleak about this

You know there's this question allot of people have, that they wonder, why is no one fixing anything? You hear about all these different things. It's a slow decayying death that is going to be boring, drull, and painful, and it's all becuase we live in a system of long term self destrection, either as a result of, or exist along side contradiction that stem from comodoty production for it's own sake, and the private ownership of the means of production.

You have infrastructure collapse, fast food, climate change, social demochracy, and credit cards. Every single one of these exist as or have some form of short term sollution that fundamentally doesn't solve the underlying problems of society, as their are ultimatly the result of liberal ideology to the core. As long as shareholders, CEO's, bank bosses, lobbyist, buisness owners and landlords continue making money, there is no reason to solve problems permenantly becuase they are being incentivized to maintain the statu quo no matter how bad it gets, save for short term sollutions, if even those are cheap enough. Unless it is a something that can be mass produced and paid for via wage labor as the owners can take the surplus value of workers and sell that in the marketplace, it wont even be considered much less practiced, epecially if costs so much. This a contradiction, like many others. Everyone on the right of the class leftism, from ancaps, facists, and even social democrats all epitimize trly liberal ideology, in that incremental change is perferred, rather than anything systemic.
