You know what they could have done if they wanted to promote a real social justice movement? Go to a real social justice gathering, film it in all its professionally-organized glory, like most happenings actually are, and put that on TV or YouTube, and at the end of the recording, put the Pepsi logo and THEN maybe you can use the phrase "join the conversation". That would show people that they have some solidarity with actual movements, not the corporate waste of imagination bowel movements called TV and YouTube commercials.

Capitalism really does not mean that everyone only eats hamburgers, it is more or less compatible with cultural diversity and so on. There's no reason for capitalists to reject diversity as long as they can turn a profit, it is even better for them to "embrace"/eat up all the social movements that they can. As long as they can misdirect them and take away the real radical anti-capitalist edge, they'll go with anything.

This is why I like to insist on being a communist. That is a cause that they probably can't make into a neutral one.
