Roman polotics was half non stop arguing and half doing nothing. The army carried them.

The Takeda vs Uesugi war was fantastic though, some of the best tactics of the time. Just both were so hardcore they couldn't gain any ground. Then they both died and their kids failed hard. Though Uesugi managed to survive.
I now, but Oda lost most his fights against Takeda and Uesugi when he did fight them, Hojo just shot at him whenever he came around their castles, like they did with everyone who wasn't Takeda. Gotta love old man Hojo. Oda was super aggressive, which was great for where he liked to fight, but those two managed to find ways around his tactics, usually requiring Oda to kill off his own troops to win.

Shame they don't have a realistic one like they do with the 3 kingdoms war for China, that show was great.
Also, reminder that Cao Cao did absolutely nothing wrong besides not finishing off Shu.

It may also be because he had thoughts of keeping Lu Bu alive and having him as an officer.
