Night in the Woods does have a fairly leftist narrative. Though its design decisions are odd, it is meant to be replayed, which days you spend with Bea or Gregg effects ending. That is fine but you have the entire first act that has doesn't effect this and you are only allowed one save so you can't skip the first act. Then you have Germ and Lori's arc that is easy to miss on top of this deign, they lock off the Food Donkey that is Germ's location for the first part of the game and never really tell the player when the place is accessible so the game expects you to keep trying to go there.

Yet the narrative is pretty cool despite being short and have a sudden ending.

I hope 1.0 comes soon, so we can finally have script extender support and MCP features, and open the floodgates for modding.
So far it seems the biggest issue for 1.0 is the construction set, who is still halfway done.
