As long as white people don't LARP as buddhists.
"All religions by definition rest on faith rather than reason–that is, they appeal to the least critical faculties of their disciples and commonly reduce them to acquiescence to the ruling classes. Hence any religion may have reactionary social consequences" - Bookchin
this.
anyone who buys into the whole "le peaceful eastern spirituality :)" doesn't know anything about Buddhism.
Bookchin keeps sounding like a sjw
How on earth do you get "SJW" from an anti-theist position?
The world is made of good white suburban christians, and edgy tryhard sjws in universities, and that's it.
Fite me, christcuck
Thai forest Buddhism is the most redpilled religion.

If you can find peace and solace in any religion you are better off in my opinion. Sure we can all argue about religion being "spooked" or whatever, but at the end of the day some aspects of buddhism help relieve my depression and for that I am grateful.

Context is key, man.
In the text that this excerpt was taken from, the Buddha was challenging the notion that the Brahmin caste of India have some sort of inherent superiority over the other castes. He gives the class structure of places outside of India as an example, where they lack an analogue to a Brahmin caste. He brings up the possibility upwards mobility not as a way of saying that this is part of some natural order, but rather as a way of telling the Brahmin that the concept of a fixed natural/divine order is absurd. In other words, he's saying that the idea of one caste, whether it would be master or brahmin, having divine/natural superiority over another is a spook.
No. All religion is cancerous.
quite frankly, the gospel is fake news.
So how long will it take before anfem begins her shitpost routine on this thread?
