Porky is making a movie about the commies that go to Syria to assist in the war with the YPG. They're casting Gyllenhaal as pisspiggrandad, but they received no permission from him. They're framing this movie as "these fucking outcasts had nowhere in the US so they went to find themselves in Syria."
PPG is furious about this, and has been ranting on Twitter.
Is there anything we can do to stop this?

So just to make this clear, hollywood porkies want to fuck with people who voluntarily go to warzones?
Are they fucking stupid? Bets on how long it takes someone to firebomb this cunts house?

Just another reminder that any effort at revolution is futile unless backed with massive capital

Oy vey a Jew goes to rojava to """"""fight""""" ISIS by taking pictures of himself holding guns and smoking cigars for a year and all of the sudden the Hollywood kikes are making a picture about him, complete with a Jewish actor in the lead! What a cohencidence!

If the intent is to portray these socialists as alienated losers looking for an identity, it will completely backfire.
Remember, this is a common trope in Hollywood. Fight Club, American Beauty, Office Space, virtually every romance ever: the protagonist feels out of place, he feels lost and believes he's wasting his life away, he wants something to live (and die) for, and the movie is about his search for it. Then the alienated protagonist stumbles upon something stupid and gay like love or a new job, he moves to a new city or goes to college and that signals their "redemption". And movies like that are always successful because a lot of people identify with this.
If Hollywood wants to direct this anxiety towards radical politics instead of "grow a pair and quit your job!", isn't that something positive for us?

I love PPG so much

I thought of no one because the description is so absurdly generic that it describes millions of people.
Connor Morgan
It's annoying, but I hope at least it is usable as pro-Bookchin propaganda
Gavin Reyes
I agree, this could become good. Goal should be to influence the script and actors so they do it decently.
Brandon Foster
I guess you're also anti-Assad?
Nathan Cox
fucking bodied lol

How could you read that post and conclude I'm pro isis or anti Assad? I'm just pointing out cohencidences.
Connor Taylor
Are you a bit upset that Jews have the global community coherence that white people no longer have at a local level because of capitalism, which Hitler fucked over Otto and Joe to protect?
Elijah Nelson
What a stupid post. If all ethnicities of the world maintain ethnic solidarity except for white people within capitalism, clearly capitalism isn't to blame now is it?
Idiot.

Liberals have an aversion to doing anything collective for a greater purpose. Everything to them is a part of some egotistical journey to find yourself, they were probably trying to "redeem" PPG by portraying it as some search for identity. Nothing is better at making a liberal shit their pants than the concept of people sacrificing narrow self-interest to work for a greater purpose.
