RT is more reliable than mainstream sources, but I do take it with a grain of salt because it has a quite a positive bias towards the country of it's origins. Also, they've been pandering a bit towards right wing populists for quite a bit now because they have a better policy towards Russia than other politicians at this current moment. And sometimes the stories on Russia Today are just straight up bad youtube.com/watch?v=KIT1ulLCa2w

The Guardian is relatively decent for strict news reporting. stay tf away from the opinion page tho

The Intercept

The Gaurdian is all incredibly opinionated shock media

If you want to get news then at least get the news that are directed to Porky.

RT and CNN are good sources for daily dose of ideology if you wanna know what's the next big thing retards are gonna cry about.

RT

is that the sound of her farts?

Any Spanish language Holla Forums news sources?

Chomsky said the Financial Times is the only bourgeois newspaper you can trust.

bump

Oh god, those comments

Seconding this! I used to read El País, but lately they've gotten way too liberal for me.

I saw someone posted teleSUR earlier, although I've never watched them so I can't say how good they are.

no

Fuck I hope the next season of HWNDU is in Finland so much. All those guys look like they're ready for some serious discussion.

If you want Holla Forums "approved" things then everything you read will just be liberal narative pushing things that disregard truth. Really, the best thing to do is find news sources that are investigative one. Find publications that only one bias, a bias towards finding and publishing the truth.

This is good.

T. Putin.

I get all my news from Phil Greeves, Red Kahina, and HoochieMinh

When will you get bored and go back to 4pol?

You have to go back

Fuck off, people ITT are posting The Guardian and Democracy Now.

Where do you think these trolls come from?

Everything Porky reads is an approved news source. Everything Porky writes is not.

You have to read Porky rags like WSJ to know what Porky is up to, fam.

You know what I meant, fam.

You literally said EVERYTHING you read will be liberal.

Unless you can say that EVERY source ITT was liberal then you're still wrong

Seriously, everyone on Holla Forums should buy a subscription to Le Monde Diplomatique right now. They seriously deserve (and need) the money.

t. Le Monde Diplomatique's sales manager

I don't speak french fam

There's a monthly english version lad

just an autistic fanboy

What's wrong with mass media? Are they not all far left leaning?

lol

...

I'm serious, what is unsatisfactory about it? They always seem to paint the leftist movements in a positive light, am I mistaken?

They're not far left leaning, many of them are centre right. CCN, Indy, the Graun are just limp wristed whining liberals.

Monthly Review and Socialist Appeal are decent

Ah yes, I recall Fox news and Huffpost constantly propagating the revolution to destroy capitalism

They exclusively serve bourgeois interests. They're entirely pro-establishment and anti-anything that would disrupt their masters' cash flow.

What do you mean by "leftist movements?" Occupy was leftist, and it got shit on from day one. Bernie, comparative to the rest of the American political landscape, is way left, and he is shit on incessantly too. Even if you were to look at the way they handled the release of documents by wikileaks over the past year and a half or so, they've done nothing but defend the status quo.

The modern media ecosystem is viscerally hostile to the left, except its most benign derivatives like identity politics. Aside from Glen Greenwald, I can hardly think of a contemporary journalist that doesn't deserve the bullet.

t. Karl Rove

There used to be a pretty thorough list-thread of recommended news and theory sources on cycle but I don't know where it's gone. :(

"Now it is time to destroy Capitalism and remove private property" – The Puffington Host
"Proletarians have nothing to lose but their chains, and a world to win" – CNN
