Your in denial if you think a socialist revolution is achievable in the United States. The military is large and well founded. Unlike the Russian army in 1917 it has no conscripts. It is very conservative like all armies, and with the general trend of smaller, more expensive armies we are going to see the army become more and more of a warrior's caste. The left in the US is tiny and is too spooked by guns because of many of them are ex-liberals. Not to mention most people who own guns lean heavily conservative.

The US will be one of the last states to achieve socialism. The best we can hope for is a collapse so that socialist movements can have a chance elsewhere
