It's imageboard content, it's public domain by nature. It's defined by the collective. What he wants is irrelevant, what matters is if people follow it (imagine no-one had followed my cue of drawing the two Rodinas co-existing as separate characters in the first place). And I don't see much need to follow this specific idea (that Rodina is now named Domovina) when we can have it all (she's Rodina Domovina, or maybe Rodina nicknamed Domovina)

I think that's mostly because those two images have gotten so insanely popular that it would be impossible to even reach all the people that think of them that way. That's not the case here, where it's a much smaller community. It's more a case of people just not wanting to do it. I'll continue to respect his wishes, and I don't think that makes me a "revisionist" for doing so.
