Why hasnt Bernie created his own party?
He has pointed out many times he is playing under the system, he clearly said losing the DNC chair wasnt a bad thing since they were so close in the ESTABLISHMENT'S field.
If he ditches the democrats and creates his own socialist party he is sure to win in 2020 because he wont get fucked over by democrats and the people are behind him and his party.

The two least popular candidates ever didn't amount to a 5% third party vote. Third parties can serve a purpose, but actually holding office isn't one of them in the current system.

Now that being said, there is a push from people formerly within his campaign, higherups, to form a new party. I think his resignation is he still believes he can change the Democrats, or at least he did up until the DNC chair pick.
So I think he is holding out because once he does make his own party, Democrats will gun hard for him, where I think he sees himself currently has some sort of ninja within the party tweaking shit here and there for the better.
But I don't think anybody really knows what he's up to, if he is simply conceding to Dems or playing 11D chess

If he makes a party soon it ll grow in power a ton by 2020, republicans in red states might still be retarded and vote for Trump but i bet a lot more people are rational and will choose Bernie as the only right independent choice since for Democrats it ll probably be Hilalry again.

It may just be that democrats (the regular folks registered democrat, not the politicians) are stubborn enough that it will take until after the midterm elections for them to get it. What I mean is that when they put a bunch of Democrats in Congress in 2018, those Democrats are almost exclusively going to be more of the same shitty pro-capital democrats that the voters are sick of. But it won't be clear until they get into office and start voting that way. Only because people are now paying such close attention to their representatives, they will realize this and see that they have no hope of fixing this within the democratic party.
At that point I hope Sanders joins the DSA or something (since he calls himself a democratic socialist) and brings a shitload of people with him. Whatever happens it's gonna be huge. Too many people are being squashed too hard now.

Yes Bernie is/was incredibly popular, but that's in part simply because he played it safe. If he ran now all he could hope to do is split the Democratic vote. I mean if the Democrats have so far failed to kill off the Republicans, how can Bernie hope to kill off the Democrats?
i doubt Bernie will make it to 2020, even if he does, chances are the DNC will fuck hm over again.

He has voted for every pro-israel bill, voted for buildup to Iraq war, and voted for every military appropriations bill.
