Borderlands 2 was fun to play co-op with some friends and large amounts of alcohol. But if you're playing solo it's boring and shallow. There's better games out there, no need to waste your time with this.

That almost seems to bad to be real, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was actually in the game

The first game is no better then mediocre, and barely worth talking about. It is neither awful or great and it goes to show that one of the biggest complaints people have about it is that it ripped off its aesthetic from some video from viemo.
I only tried 2 for like half an hour and from what I've seen I have written it off as radioactive. That is prolonged contact with it would only be a detriment to myself, and I am sure that all the others would be that same.

Reminder that the reason for this is that Anthony Burch had an entire character written out for him, but his voice actor looked at the script, decided it was garbage and just did whatever the hell he wanted
Burch got pissed but Gearbox liked the VA’s ideas better so they put his version of Jack in the game

Axton and BL2. Never tried Willhelm in Pre-Sequel though. Pre-Sequel made the classes just needlessly complicated and worse.

If I really had to put it into words, I'm mad that Borderlands 2 was such irredeemable shit compared to how good of a base Borderlands 1 was. It should be easy to see the problems with borderlands 1 to fix them for a sequel and make the game better.
