I think part of the issue is that there's some bad temperature variance in my house at night, and playing vidya while cold sucks if you ask me (especially if you're in a cold place in the game too). Can't turn the heat on much without waking up the other people here.

Don't remember is the Tentacool line's all that useful; more of an annoyance if you ask me. Walrein's got STAB for fucking up dragons, but is also pretty slow if memory serves. Think I usually went with Wailord during main game, with a bolt beam Starmie in post game. That's if you don't run Mudkip for water/earth coverage though.

Speaking of which, tried replaying Emerald recently starting with Treecko. Without ground coverage (and if you don't pick mudkip, at that point all you have is geodude for ground), Wattson will stone wall you. His Magneton is a pain and even if you have electric immunity, Sonic Boom will whittle you down fast at that point.

So far my team is combusken, gardevoir, skarmory, and vibrava. I just beat norman and i'm doing all the surf routes before heading to fortree. Any other pokemon I shoukd look into this late in the game? I prefer not to have two pokemon of the same type. I.E. no two flying types.

Steel has so many resistances and training up new Pokemon at that point is annoying, especially since you're so limited on options early on. And again, his Magneton is the big problem; forget if that was an Emerald exclusive monster of his or if it was in RS as well.
Can't even get a good wild ground type until after you beat him since you need Rock Smash to enter the desert.

Well, as I mentioned with Wailord, you're still a ways off from that, but if you take the time to fish in Mossdeep, you can reel in some fairly high level Wailmer with the super rod.

I can't really remember who I usually used in my last playthrough other than my starter, Gardevoir (because you have to trade to obtain Alakazam), and Wailord, with two of the other party members being relegated to HM duty. But I would say to find something that can give you dragon coverage (and not just dragon vs dragon). You'll need it.

Its HP plays into it having Water Spout, which can have a maximum of 140 power at full health. Granted, Surf is a good move for most water types already, but sometimes you just need the extra power to wreck something.

It's fun. Turn-based JRPG, but with active input mechanics for both offense and defense (in a different style than Paper Mario, I might add).

Milk is the fool's balm for acid reflux. It actually promotes further acid buildup after like 30 minutes from when you drink it and makes it worse. Maybe milk and baking soda would help but idk

NA one is to my knowledge. If you've got a PS2 with an IDE and loaders, or are able to emulate (both to bypass region lock), there's the PAL and JP "International" release that NA never got. Think it's got a fanmade undub patch as well. I would assume the compilation releases on the PS3 and PS4 would be based on the International one, but you might try asking in that FFX thread currently up about differences.

The reason I have acid reflux is because of an over-consumption of processed foods coupled with obesity. Processed foods are notorious for being nutritionally devoid of anything valuable for the gut and probiotic supplements are never as good a source for these nutrients as a proper diet. Acid reflux is caused by the sphincter that cuts off the stomach from the intestines relaxing enough to allow a backflow of acid into the stomach and then up the esophagus. This is caused by pressure on that sphincter due to obesity and also when the body doesn't have enough of those nutrients typically found in non-processed foods.
Also wheat foods are shit too but if you're eating non-processed shit alongside wheat you'll be fine.
