I contend that neither are fun. I never much liked the "doom" style level design philosophy.

I cant really think of a game with level design that I favor since my tastes have changed so much over time. I've also not put much though to it in general.

I played bioshock infinite through one time. Didn't grab me enough to be worth even a second playthrough. A huge sandbox game like mount and blade warband, though? I've dumped 264 hours total into that, literally eleven solid days.

Deuce, I've even played hunie pop through a few times, because I genuinely enjoyed the puzzles of the game and the general mechanics horny was also a factor, of course . Mount and blade/hunie pop together probably ran me only 30 dollarydoos.
I've come to the conclusion that any game that costs $60 is just overhyped garbage.

Nothing is better but the graphical fidelity in Bioshock.

Bioshock 2 actually had more complex maps than the first one IIRC, but map complexity is a retarded thing to say a game is better because anyway. On the topic of *shock games, System Shock 2 was a pretty piss poor game because of the infinite respawning of enemies, it just felt unfair and I lost health and resources even though I shouldn't have when a enemy spawns behind me randomly.

Everybody points to 2014 and Gamergate as the moment when the culture war / political bullshit went full open hostile in gaming, but for me it was 2012. That was when it became clear that gaming wasn't going to be a containment zone for nerdy males where we could escape the real world.
