And you can actually watch them because they're being broadcast at midnight EST: Haaken (Sol) vs Zadi (Raven) and defending champion Nage (Faust) vs 2Rio (I-No). Notably, Zadi must win 10-8 or better to qualify for the secondary stage and Nage must win 10-5 to dash 2Rio's hopes. If 2Rio wins 6 games, he qualifies.

The elimination tournament composed of all the 2nd- and 3rd-place players from each league. I don't know the exact point breakdown, so I can't tell you who's already qualified, but tonight's matches mean a lot to every player. The finals will take place next week if all goes according to plan.

Bamco owns the Dragon Ball license, either devs come to them to pitch ideas or they go to devs to get them to do grunt work. Either way ASW isn't losing money from DBFZ; Bamco just drops a budget in front of them and says "This is the only cash you get. You follow what we want."

I think the issue capcom is having is that they have Capcom USA feeding information to Capcom who is feeding the information to Dimps, and so they have three entities that all have different ideas of how the game should be playing a gigantic game of telephone and so we get extremely inconsistent changes and they can never decide how the game should actually play.

A lot of the stuff in SFV just feels like there are several people working on the balancing that do not communicate at all. Like, a lot of the v-trigger 2s are mini-supers (as opposed to buffs/timers/whatever), but then they also made combos into v-trigger scale like absolute shit, so most of them are just not very useful, like the shinryuken. There was stuff in Season 2 like this, too, but I can't remember anymore. I do remember Urien getting buffed even though he had only been out for like a week or something.

Her VT2 is useless, the opponent still is able to build meter from getting hit even though on Capcom's stream a few weeks ago they showed the contrary. That was the only hope for that half-assed attempt at giving the character variety. Her VT1 took a hit from the nerf hammer along with her V-skill, but it's still infinitely more useful than VT2.

Only things she got that's nice is her target combo now hits crouching opponents. Whatever hit/hurtbox tweaks they've made haven't made much of a difference. Further cementing that Capcom doesn't care about her at all and would rather be working on Chun Li's 30th costume.
