They're actually unashamedly revealing these people as if they're a good thing. The "deep state" is a misnomer. This is the informal network of capital that holds the power. The state exists only to protect the interests of capital and not in formal institutions but informal networks of capital – this is how oligarchy rules and power is always held in informal structures not formal institutions. It's not the "deep state". It's the regime and they are revealing it. It used to be a conspiracy theory to even talk about these people and now they're being applauded as some kind of saviors.
