I played 3 a whole lot back when it was new, and I never even knew that bug existed until a couple of years ago. Don't worry about it. I think deleting saves from the card is what causes problems, so just get a card that only has SCIII data on it.

It might be good. I'm worried about how they will pull off the rock-paper-scissor mechanism. Everything else seems good, fluid, fast paced and I'm also happy with supers as long as they aren't done like in V.
I sincerely hope the SP mode isn't shallow because that's very important on the SC series (much more so than on Tekken or any other classic fighting game).

SCII had the best gameplay. SCIII the best SP content. SCV and SCIV the best character creation mode.

It should be positive. T7 has great gameplay and it runs very well (even the online works now and it should get another improvement soon). All of that should be implemented into SC just fine.
My only worry is that they remove the relevance to SP mode since -as I already said- it is very important to the series (you will get more support from your core-audience if SP is good).
DLC will happen regardless of what you do, Tekken 7 DLC isn't significantly worse than the DLC of any other fighting game.
