Hey man, best mods for Dawn of War? (all expansions). It's time to reinstall this shit, brothers.

Personally, I play UA, some anons don't like it because it's kinda unbalanced and because the end game is just retarded and really tedious.
This one is even more of a mess than UA, but I like the new factions here.

There's also a mod that anons play here but I don't remember the name. Just stick to UA for now.
>implying it wouldn't crash

DoWPro is the best mod for SS by far. UA can suck Slaanesh's cock.

Would be nice if it added new factions, but it doesn't. More like a novelty for multiplayer and not actual skirmish fun.

Why play this when Total Warhammer is a much better game?

is it? I havent even seen it in motion

I do know there are awesome mods for DoW that add all kinds of badass stuff though. stuff that probably isnt in total warhammer.

Well shit, found a DoW collection but it doesn't include Soulstorm, which most new mods are made for. God dangit.

no space marines in that, retard

well that blows it.

They skipped these guys? Why? Other than everyone thinking how retarded it was.

apparently Soulstorm isn't an expansion but a standalone game.
maybe I didnt even need the original game and expansions since most mods seem to be made for SS now.

Yes, but you need the previous games or some fuckery to unlock the previous expansion races.

Well fuck now I gotta reinstall it and write the keygen key down to be able to play multiplayer races in dark crusade and winter assault. cant believe they'd do this crap.>>14008607

It hurts.

Not even in the same universe, dipshit.

Dark crusade and Soulstorm are expandalones, meaning you can play them without the previous games but you need to buy them if you want to play with the races in those games. So if you have Soulstorm and DC you can only play necrons, tau, dark eldar, and nuns with guns.

There sort of is, Titanium Wars for both Dark Crusade and Soulstorm work for the single player campaign by having the AI use the mod specific units and rebalancing its behavior a little. It isn't exactly a complete overhaul of the campaign, but the unit additions and the changes to the stronghold missions make it an enjoyable experience.

I'll have to look into it.
I always felt the idea of wargear and honour guards was a cool addition, and I'd really like to see an RTS designed with it in mind.

My recommendation is to play with chaos, IG or space marines for starters, Titanium Wars expanded them MASSIVELY, they're tons of fun to play even if it's just to fuck around with the AI on defensive missions, give it a try.
