At this point, I’m rooting for the Empire because it is clearly the script that demands they be regarded as a flimsy excuse for why the Resistance can launch the counter attack.

Leia ordered the X-Wing pilot to pull off the attack once the small Resistance fleet was able to evacuate, but our cocky pilot blatantly ignores orders, shuts off communication with his superior, and presses the attack because the movie wants you to think he’s such a brave hero and the resistance fighters are all such brave heroes. It ends up being a phyrric victory with some try hard sad scene with the lady bomber just barely able to drop their payload directly above the big Imperial ship because some Asian girl went down to the loading bay and got the release remote from her dead comrade by kicking it down and miraculously catching it before it fell past her reach. Not sure why you need a fucking remote control to release bombs in a bomber. There should be a co-pilot in charge of that. Whatever. They all die with the Imperial ship.

Cocky X-Wing pilot who blatantly defied orders and got all of them kill survived and becomes an important character in the movie, then does some weird, tight angled maneuver that X-Wings aren’t actually capable of pulling off to escape with Leia’s fleet. If you’ve seen it, you know what maneuver I’m talking about. He completely minimized his turn radius in the blink of an eye, without slowing down, and managed to outmaneuver two tie fighters. Fuck this movie.

Then Rey tracks Luke Skywalker down to some remote island somewhere and hands him a lightsaber. He responds by telling her to fuck off for 20 minutes.

Leia rightfully demotes the pilot that ignored her orders. And nothing else. He doesn’t even get taken to the brig. The Empire tracks them down through lightspeed (because they can do that now) and he’s back in action within 10 minutes of him being demoted for defying orders. That is, before Kylo Ren did something that was actually smart and shot through their hangar, preventing them from deploying fighters. So fuck You, Pilot Guy. But Kylo fails to shoot the bridge Leia is stationed in. But that’s okay because two random tie fighters do it for him. But you know Leia isn’t going to die here because you already know that whoever wrote this is stuck in the mindset of making a movie, so there have to be miraculous asspulls and dramatic close ups of characters before they actually die. Leia didn’t get that so you already know she somehow makes it out of her bridge being blown up and the explosion knocking her out into the middle of space.

Then she uses the force to Peter Pan her way back to the ship. Not even joking. Leia, having never used the force in this way ever in her fucking life, used it to fly through space and get back to the ship. Fuck this movie.

Then Rey tries to convince Luke some more before being drawn to some dumb tree where the oldest surviving Jedi texts were being kept because…why? Luke then does the audience a huge favor and asks Rey why the fuck she’s even here for us. She responds because she was ordered to. Like responds, no fuck off, why are YOU here?

She pauses for 30 long seconds as she realizes she has no real character motivation to do any of this before using LOL DA FORCE xD as her excuse because that’s the only thing that can justify her behavior at this point. Rey and Kylo can also telepathically talk to each other with the force…for some reason. Luke agrees to give Rey a lesson in the force and it takes her a mere 5 minutes of consistently interrupted meditation for her to fully comprehend what the force really is and give Luke a dissertation about it.

Juyo?!Rey just picks one up and handles it like a pro. She even does the reverse handle thing like you would do with a dagger, but with a lightsaber. Perfectly. Fuck her and fuck this movie.

Despite telling Luke she wouldn’t leave the island without him, Rey leaves the island without him after they have a tiff about Luke lying about the story. Rey then pulls a RotJ and turns herself in and Kylo takes her to Snoke. This entire scene goes exactly as it did in that film except it’s even more insulting because Snoke knew exactly what happened to Palpatine but fell for the exact same thing anyway. Then there’s an admittedly well choreographed and beautifully shot scene where Kylo and Rey team up and fight some red guards. There should’ve been more scenes like this. It’s still stupid Rey can handle a lightsaber like that despite never studying any of the forms, but the action and use of dichromatic color schemes really makes things pop out in a good and stylish way.

After the fighting, Kylo pulls a Sasuke Uchiha and vows to destroy everything, Sith and Jedi included. Rey then fucks off because that shit is stupid.

Something something fleet escaping to a planet more salty than San Francisco when Trump won, some really cute animals that will most certainly become toys, and everyone realizing the giant iron door shielding their Base was the only way in or out. Once again, the dichromatic approach here is really nifty. There’s a clean, white, salty surface on the ground but red soil underneath. This is probably the best part of the whole film. Chink sacrifices herself to save Nigger from sacrificing himself, angering the audience and accomplishing nothing as the Imperial forces blast a hole through their wall. They also kiss. For no reason. Then she dies.

Luke shows up out of nowhere and has a touching reunion with Leia that is only really touching because of the real life relationship between Mark and Carrie. You can tell they really do love each other. It’s not the film’s power doing that. It’s their own, personal relationship. Just making that clear.

Luke then faces down the Imperial forces by himself. Blaster fire is obviously ineffective and you’d think they would have learned it by now since even in the prequels, Jedi developed fighting forms to maximize their defensive capabilities against blaster fire.

Then Kylo comes down to duel him in a very short fight scene that could’ve been much better. Kylo slices right through Luke but he turns around and he’s fine. Bewildered, Kylo walls up to Luke and stabs him in the heart. Again, it just goes through him. Kylo then realized Luke is pulling a Casper the Friendly Ghost on him and using the Force to project himself in another point in space. In reality, he’s meditating on the island to keep up the illusion. Kylo also realizes this was a ploy to buy the Resistance some time to escape, which they do, because he’s retarded.

Luke dies on the island. Movie ends. Also left out that Yoda made an appearance and burned down the tree with the ancient texts in it. It was Yoda that convinced Luke to help them.

I…this was just stupid. It’s cool if you’re just looking for a fun movie, but it just doesn’t make any sense half the time, like a game localized by Treehouse. It has all the silly movie tropes and generic, uncreative camera work of any other film. There only two scenes that seemed like they were actually created by inspired people.

Well I'll wait and see but right now there are no laws preventing ISPs from throttling and blocking certain traffic. The industry in general needs more serious competition in these fields, we need a real Youtube, Twitter and facebook alternative to shake things up. Trouble with creating any alternatives to those sites is userbase, people want to all be on the same social media platforms. If they literally aren't allowed though, that might change things.

I guess we will just have to see what happens then.

History is written by the victors and the arena was always far larger than trying to get a few disclosures added. Without killing entities like Alphabet I think we're pretty much fucked.

I suspect the best thing that could possibly happen is Trump himself moving permanently to a another platform like Gab, either voluntarily or because of a twitter ban. Obviously he would take his entire fanbase with him, but it wouldn't stop there. For all the calls by lefties to delete his account or just stop tweeting, the blue checkmark brigade that haunts his every tweet get an immense amount of validation from personally shittalking the POTUS on twitter every day, so you can bet they'ed follow him over there too to. And as we know all too well, your average journo these days is far more interested in reporting what Donald Trump is tweeting, eating or excreting than actual news stories, so a good chunk of the legacy media would have to up stakes and follow him there to keep close to their primo source of EZ news stories.What Im saying is, Trump is such a major part of the scenery on twitter right now that his departure would tear off half the userbase or more, and the sheer shock of losing that number of users to another service would force Twitter to change to try and attract users back(you know, basic free market shit). Wed probably even get a public apology over the way theyve treated conservatives in the past if they got desperate enough.

Sadly, I doubt any of of this will come to pass. Twitter is as wise to this as any of us are,I suspect that's why they haven't banned him despite the potency of his twitter account in the Election and beyond. That and banning a head of state from twitter because of hurt feelings would really out them as fools.
