Also, the fur on Sully looks awful, there's an Unversed in the middle and on the left of the first pic (an enemy that's straight up gone now), Mike as a fighter makes no sense (maybe a partner to Sully's attacks like Mulan and Mushu)- the the monster front and centre looks very basic and "uncluttered"- something modern KH enemies don't really do.

I don't think it's real, but it wouldn't shock me if it was. If it is clear, it's obvious that Reser Era must be being supported by someone like SilverString media or DiGRA to be getting leaks of this calibre (make Reset Era "popular" to manipulate gaming audiences)

Kingdom hearts made too many mistakes, first off it limited itself to just Disney stuff. And only the kid friendly type stuff too. That's not the best idea when you want to go for the edgy early teen audience.
THEN it decided to take a major break. I mean KH3 going to come out. 2018. When did KH2 come out? 2005. That's 13 fucking years between main installments. And even if you count KH:3D as a main installment (you shouldn't) then it's still been 5 years since a major release. I swear I think I'm the only one that is seeing the problem here. KH3 is going to suck. It's going to try to pander to an audience that isn't there anymore, have some retconning bullshit plot to make new stuff fit in, and just all around not be worth it. It's not coming out on PC and there's not gonna be a switch version that last one actually makes sense but still! Not to mention that they've supposedly been working on this thing since at LEAST 2013.

also 5 bucks says that they manage to squeeze in an lgbtqaaip and sometimes y character in there, because disney and squeenix do that now for some reason.

The mentality towards KH is to make a new game that new players can enjoy, particularly kids, because you know, it's Disney. It's true that they wanted edgy teens as audience, but Disney would never be Ow the Edge levels of edginess on purpose. The audience, however, is supposed to be the autistic people following the whole damn thing like me, so there is an audience, and over the years with hype and other alienating tactics I'm willing to bet the audience is pretty strong.

Kangdom Hearts

Gameplay was fun, loads of people wanted a hack-n-slash final fantasy and this was the closest they could get. Story didn't get completely retarded until after KH2 and it was pretty damn coherent for the first game.

People in their late teens had barely learnt to walk when KH first came out.

Because the game play is good for the main games and the story is nostalgia bait out the ass with animu autism on top. However it looks like the new one will have less fun controls then KH 2 Final Mix so it's probably going to be awful

Anyone could enjoy playing Kingdom Hearts II without playing CoM and no one needs to play the mobile games to understand anything important. From what I came to understand it's because the JRPG mechanics are really good but the premise was so terrible they still haven't made a proper ending apparently.

The movie is a separate plot that just happens to take place at the same time as the mobile game. You need to play the mobile game and then watch the movie to understand the true Kingdom Hearts experience. Please don't actually play the mobile game, it matters even less to the series plot than re:coded did.
