Try any map with a easy access hallway (i.e. where going up a ledge would be a hassle) or a corner. Place a mine, refill ink, attack an enemy, pretend to retreat behind a corner wall or past your mine in the hallway, and then hide and wait.

I HAVE actually been killed by one, once, but it was in the middle of an Ink Storm. Even if you're right on top of one when it goes off, it'll only splat you if you're already really badly hurt.

For added efficiency and risk, don't refill your ink. This will trick your enemy into thinking you're not running away because you're a pussy or A SNEAKSTER, but because you're out of ink.

I got the inkling girl amiibo and I scanned it but the tracks in the mini game aren't unlocking. I'm at level 20 if it's relevant, I can't find anything online about it, just says scan it and you'll get it.

Assign clothes to the amiibo then leave the equip menus and go back to them and assign a different outfit, I think twice is all you need, go talk to the amiibo, you now have everything from that amiibo

Change the eye color. It doesn't provide good contrast to the skin color. A tan of that color usually need a deep light or a deep dark color to provide a stunning look, and the eyes don't really do that.

Which controls are you most comfortable with? I played the first few hours without motion controls, then tried motion controls for a bit. I hate that I have to almost break my wrists just to look down or up, but the extra bit of accuracy is good.

Maybe you're just getting unlucky. I've had many narrow wins and losses, but it's not uncommon for quick matches to end so easily.
I easily got out of C and B, but A rank is where I'd keep getting close and a bad streak would start me over.

Ive got some tips on winning games, Imma use
"Fat Clam Bunch" for the big football of clams

Basically you want to collect 5 Regular clams at best so,you can toss the tiny clams to other players to help create the Fat Clam

I.e. Say I have 6 clams and you have 4. You can toss me your 4 to my 6 to make the Fat Clam(The 10 Clam Bunch).

Also Paint ahead on the map, basically map control so when the clams respawn you have better movement options around the map also paint near the enemy goal post so its easier

If you get splatted check the mini map where you can find more clams

If you splat an enemy With a Fat Clam Stay near it cause if you leave it unattended and some random enemy picks it up that's a free 10 points

The penalties in Clam Blitz work like how you would add positive and negative integers

Say you have a +8 Penalty and you have a Fat Clam Bunch. Basically its like (-)8 + 10 makes 2. So it goes down by 2 points then you can throw the rest of your clams for more points and what not.

I somehow managed to understand Clam Blitz within an hour of playing just by jumping Gun hoe into the fray

Throw the clams from the high ground where the white crates are. You can score from afar and still be safe P

It's not flashy by any stretch, but it's the most well rounded, and can cover any situation, unlike the dualies.

I've had a few times where really good brella players have managed to tank for the rest of the team, jumping in front of enemy fire and raising the shield to defend other players.

Not sure how badly they've nerfed it, since I haven't been able to get a stable connection since the last update, but having a good Brella on your team was a godsend in Rainmaker when they first arrived.

Utilize abuse your range. The only shooter that outreaches you is the JS, and I'm not certain how effective it is in spla2n, so it may not even be an issue in the first place. Focus on learning exactly how far your shot goes and keeping yourself that far away from your enemies. Run ink efficiencies like ISM and IR, and you may like object shredder for your bubbles.

If you bought the physical release of Kid Icarus Uprising, the 3DS stand actually fits the switch pretty well, albeit the viewing angle is a little low.
But you can charge it while it's being propped up.

I see potential value for it in ranked, especially for defensive purposes. A buddy of mine likes splatbrella, and the ability to keep the umbrella open at all times makes this a very good choice for him, maybe.

The octobrush is good. The inkbrush is outclassed by other weapons at everything except maybe collecting and running clams in clam blitz or eggs in salmon run.

Can you give me some pointers on octobrush? The range seems shit and it takes too many hits to splat, I feel. I tried using ninja squid, but it doesn't suit my play style. I'm too aggressive and proactive for that, and I often times find myself losing in range and damage output.
