I kept forgetting it was 1920s NY as it looked like it was 1960-70. The villain, and his motives were weak. The ending was really predictable with The Shadow controlling the knife at the end, and I even said the words "I'll be watching." as he spoke them. The film felt really cheesy with weak characters. The ending with Kan not dying was pretty unexpected and a good comedic scene.
