Ah, no. But I have as many Tamamo supports as Waver supports, so it hardly matters. Waver is still a bit better. Got a Lv65 /NP5 / 6/6/6 Hans, though which is absolutely fantastic.

Besides, my solo set up is gonna be Emiya(Another Ending/2030), Hans(2030/Prisma Cosmos), Jeanne(2030) anyhow. With their 9 star a round skills and Hans upcoming boost to his NP which adds the stargen buff to it, I'll have a stable and usable set up of my own. Just thinking about Hawkeye is making me moist.

Oh and a level 90 Vlad at NP2, too. So yeah, plenty of Crit meme options.

Ah, the idea I had was Vlad/Tama/Waver. Health restoration, NP gain, Skill cooldown, all the buffs and the damage with Vlad.

Well, Hans is mini-Waver so it could work. Still gonna go with Emiya as main my attacker; once he gets his buffs he's just gonna be tearing through shit while Jeanne blocks any NPs and Hans keeps buffing absolutely everything while heal-stacking with Jeanne and Emiya debuffing opponents if it comes to a protracted fight while supplying stars.

Is Vlad worth raising if you already have Herc? He seems underwhelming even in an arts team until his skill strengthening quest and that's a long time off.

Fate/extra is so far pretty good. How much replay value does it hold I'm pretty curious if the archer servant is also a Not-Archer or something else.

Vlad is one of the weaker 5* Berserkers, with kinda lackluster stats and a weak ST NP(because they thought it would be overpowered, I guess). Once his Strengthening quest for his second skill hits, he becomes pretty good since a three turn 30% Attack and Defense boost is pretty good.

Is he better than Heracles? Hahahaaha no. Worth raising anyhow? In my opinion, yes. EX rank Madness Enhancement means that even without a CE, at max level his Busters will be doing 15k+ damage and slapping a Formalcraft on him gives him a decent damage spread on 4/5 of his cards while boosting his NP gain. His def boost and his Guts also make him fairly tough despite being a Berserker(not Heracles tough, but still) and finally his Vampirism skill makes him awesome at stalling/controlling at which turn en enemy Servant gets to NP while boosting his own bar.

Nameless is still Emiya, but like how Kojiro is actually some random dude who wasn't actually named Kojiro but fit the bill so well he's now "Kojiro", Emiya got turned into "the nameless hero of justice".

If you're interested in the other Servants in Extra, go for it. Choose the other of Rani/Rin to get different opponents in the later half of the game and after defeating Gawain you can go into a dungeon and fight Ryougi Shiki, too.

Archer is also the best nuker in Extra, as long as you ignore the fuck out of Magic and just pump up his Strength.

I feel like ignoring anything that isn't Str, Dex or Agility on Saber truth be told. So far magic is a second thought and most of the magic I see is just buffs and debuffs.

Strength ups damage dealt. Defense lessens damage taken and up damage dealt a tiny bit. Magic raises damage dealt and lowers damage received a tiny bit while boosting debuffs a little. Agility narrows the range of damage for both.
high agi, deal 13-15 damage and receive 10-12 etc.
Luck affects certain save rolls like Gae Bolg and ups Crit damage; it's useless.
Of course all this is inverse for Tamamo. With her you want to max out Magic so that you can absolutely ravage and destroy your opponents.

Depends on how much do you like the story/player Servants and how long will you be able to stand the Rock-Paper-Scissors gameplay.
I'm going to try to go for a playthrough with Saber next, I loved Caster even if a fuckup meant almost dying, and I'm curious to see how Saber is.

If you take new game+ it will be ABSOLUTELY EASY MODE since all the enemy patterns will be already visible in the arena. Nero is also the toughest and easiest, so it's even easier with her. You madman actually played through the first time with Tamamo? That's pretty impressive considering that just like how you can see and counter opponents move, some of your invisible spots are "guaranteed hits" for the opponent.

I actually did. It was quite painful, though beating Cu, Gawain, Saver and Shiki becomes immensely satisfying. The funny thing is, about at the point where he says this it becomes impossible to keep to his "official stats", since if you put a point into anything it goes into the next rank. So technically he is at that point over 100% of his capacity. Guess that's why he got a rank up in Strength and Luck in Extra compared to FSN in the stat sheets.

I played through the game and confirmed using save states. Those "auto-hit" segments you're talking about only happen during scripted moments and against one enemy who uses it as a skill.

Huh, that's unusual. I did the Gawain fight five times as a test and I managed to get hit everytime on a specific slot on a specific round. Shows me to use such a small sample size, huh.

On a similar note, there's a nigger with lv. 96 Scathach at NP5 in my friends list. I seriously considered rolling again to try and improve my Shishou to NP2 but decided against it in favor of the Valentine's gacha.

I played out my first playthrough with Tamamo too, and that was going with a blind run and not understanding how anything worked.

It was an immensely painful trial with excessive grinding involved, but it was worth it in the end. It felt like the right amount of challenge involved in winning a grail war.

I had to do it, since she became my waifu and I had to protect her smile at all costs. I made a file recording every possible enemy pattern, until the last week, where I found an excel sheet with all of them, and that combined with lucky guesses with the servants made it possible
I went blind and I picked her because I already knew Archer's personality and I wanted to try something different from the warrior/knights I usually play, so I went with fluffy tail for a change since I thought mages tend to be overpowered after a while, why not? Even if she ended up not being OP, and the game was far harder than I expected, I regret nothing.
Except for the abundance of points I sunk into her Strength

Pure strength Saber is totally viable, and if you can get the patterns down you will demolish everything in one turn. Putting a few points in defense is helpful for fighting bosses when you can't get the full suite of their attacks. Do you have save states?

Honestly, strength on Tamamo isn't useless, as you will be rationing your sp until like level 30 when you get a Regen ability. Giving her the ability to smack for more than 100 damage per hit saves you a lot of time, leading to faster grinding and fewer stupid mistakes.

Oh, I regret getting that halfway to B, since I had to grind more for her magic, not so much putting some points into that, even if getting 400 per hit with her was satisfying in a way.

Also. The game loads an enemy's action pattern at some point during the combat conclusion cutscene, so by making a savestate before selecting moves it's easy to check to see if an additional check is being made.

the lottery in this event is really good because it gives so many goodies but most importantly it gives EXP cards. events you might get a servant in the gacha but you will get an event servant but you cant level them so giving us a ton of exp cards is great
