Cases are just boxes. I can mod a box to put a PC inside. I'll probably have to fabricate an entirely new back panel, and probably re-wire the turbo button to act as the power, and I doubt I'll be able to do anything with the lock. It used to just disable the keyboard, but I might be able to merge it into the power button so that the circuit is only complete with the system unlocked. That'll depend on if I can even dig up the key though.

Would like to get the original power switch working too if possible, but just having the switch assembly on the outside as aesthetic would be fine. Again, maybe run a few wires from it up to the Turbo button to act as a circuit break if I don't hook up the lock.

Yes, we'd have an infinite amount of shitty indie games, the net-total of shitty games would be way higher, but I honestly don't see a way around this. The main problem I see with gaming today is the publishers and the amount of cash wasted on advertising.
