I was full of hopes that the best is yet to come.

GOAT

...

Shittiest fucking game in the entire franchise, but nice credits.

...

A distinctive engrish vibe, but cool

The rest of the OST was ass, but this was a pretty good song.

Quite a change in tone from the rest of the game's music.

How many OST threads are we gonna have today

I wanted to try emulating this. Should I get the english or the undub iso?

Thanks, Michael.

u no it

N-no, it wasn't me! It can't be! This is all a misunderstanding…

...

I never played it because its a shit game but the new Shadow of Mordor game had a good ending song.

Where do you think you are?

You were so close.

The German version of Thief 2 has this over the credits

Some more total war

thats pretty metal

I cant beleive I didnt post this.
This has got the be the single best credit sequence in vidya history.
Although I never got to there let alone past the 4th level

its retarded but still a nice song

i have to know

...

Yep its a Jeff Van Dyke credits song

This is where i'd put Path of Exile's ending track
IF THEY HAD KEPT IT IN THE GAME
fucking idiots

Doubles as the credits theme too.

Ya this got me into Faunts. They're p good.

the last boss's theme is great

How is it that no one posted this?

Imagine if this was the final game in the X series and this was the theme it ended on.

It was so weird listening to tango in a Silent Hill game, but it's cool.

prior to the debut of the JoJo anime, how many anons do you think actually listened to Yes?

...

I actually just finished this. Great game, but I think Suda51 kinda fucked up the punch by putting Dan's story with Curtis before the big reveal.

If these dudes die all the fucking time, then why is the twist even a big deal? Really robs it of its narrative punch. Especially with the suitcase, what the hell else would be in there?

I liked Black and White

Do you also like to suck dicks?

More then you'd think. 80s/early 90s videogame music was heavily influenced by prog rock. Dancing Mad in FF6 is practically an ELP piece.

...

Gen 5 is the last great gen.

Mostly western soundtracks. Yellow magic orchestra had been far more influential for video game music at large

same here, sage because it's not a credits song

...

My dad introduced me to Yes right before I got into jojo so hearing Roundabout in the end credits got me excited as fuck

Good point.

This is a perfect ending track, the whole OST during the game has this oppresive and hopeless vibe to it. It's still awesome it has all sort of classical/baroque bombastic motifs CV is known for with a mix of jazz rhythms and basslines that compliment the music immensely, but the overall feel, and rightly so since this is CV we're talking about, is very dark.
The ending theme is the only that that shreds some light and a bit of hope. It effectively matches with the moment Dracula is vanished by the sunlight and the demon castle vanishes.
It still has a very melancholic feel though.

Don't know if the Japanese version's credits have a different song, but I really liked this one. Captures the tone of the ending chapter and epilogue very well.

R.I.P. Emerl

...

fits the downer ending

This was originally going to be the credits music. They dropped it for a more faithful remake, but I am currently learning this in the piano, and it is actually a really beautiful piece.

Not gonna lie. This is a strong musical composition. Especially on piano: youtu.be/su5fCvCCBUY

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines

It just oozes with such a sense of closure and accomplishment.

Finishing VTMB is literally how I found out that band existed. Bonus

That has to be the most retarded label ever

Dead Rising 2´s ending got some pretty good jams in my book - youtube.com/watch?v=Ed8Yi4AEMe4
