The advantage people claim for FCC over FTC is that the FCC would be able to act without having someone file a complaint, but that point is moot since that is the only way you are going to find out it is happening considering how much of a clusterfuck US internet is.

Every single file I convert has a significant decrease in filesize even if I do absolutely no change to the quality whatsoever. But ok, if you're doing it on your phone then you probably won't have much ability to convert them.

So, you guys playing any spooky holloween games yet? I just finished Ghost Hunter and it was pretty good. It's made by the same guys that did MedEvil. The combat is outdated and a little janky, the camera is really shitty in some places, and parts of the game have poor direction like planned content couldn't make it for one reason or another. It goes downhill in the last couple levels when it's obvious that they ran out of budget and then hit the hard deadline because the ending is the worst thing possible.
But everything else about it is incredible and it's one of those super cool games that could never get made today because nobody has any imagination anymore. Amazing environments and houses that look/feel like somebody actually lives there, great music, a nice blend of spooks and goofs, and quality voice acting from everybody's favorite warner brother.

The worst part is That in 06, Shadow is arguably at his best. He finally moved on from Maria and his past. Team Dark works for G.U.N so they can protect the world, Shadow acts like total professional and actually uses his connections at G.U.N to learn more about the villain.
Sonic's gameplay was the most buggy and his story was a mess due to Elise, but Silver's and Shadow's stories where pretty decent. only no one but autists like me actually made it far enough though the game to actually unlock playing as Silver or Shadow.
Only 11 years later now with forces are Sonic team going for something more story based again, and i'm looking forward to leaning more about what they're going for.

Anything gaining newfound popularity is "meme" now. Taro games have always been niche cult followings, and it's not like Automata is even remotely mainstream. The only thing remotely close to a meme about it is the Platinum Games involvement, and why people bothered to pay attention to it this time around because Platinum Games guaranteed more media coverage. But Platinum games is legitimately popular so it's to be expected.

Yeh I don't disagree. As for new tech - I can see that 1 or 2 extra people may be needed but surely the existing staff would be using it as it's introduced.
Also I get that a company would want nice new headquarters to work in but beyond that, expanding into more real estate really is just excessive. I think part of any doubt comes from - what's the ratio of employees? As in, how many artists/designers/writers/coders etc there are compared to PR/marketing/admin/layers of management. The creative team that makes games compared to the rest - including how many 'hangers-on'? It's all those extras that bump up costs, but once a company succumbs to 'outside' management (as in mangers who are trained as managers and have no passion for the product, like a game dev-style manager), then the 'product' often becomes 'quality we can get away with for the lowest cost' and looking out for themselves first.
