In addition from the aforementioned "almost all of this is already copywritten work anyway", they usually host on pixiv and the translations are off-site too. That's already three strikes that make me not care. They don't legally own it, it's locked to a crap site and the translations will always be hosted elsewhere. I understand getting ticked off when people snip out credits and slap on watermarks, but it being rehosted at all, ever? In order to comply with these standards, you'd basically just have to not actually continue reading these sorts of things entirely. Fan translations are the backbone of the community in anywhere but Japan, and they aren't going to be hosted on Pixiv in a large enough amount for it to be worth hanging around for.

Thankfully no one I care about has said anything of the sort like this that I'm aware of. I can get that artists can be attached to their works in specific ways, but it's not like you're getting money for posting your futa kancolle doujins on the net anyway, so I'm not changing anything.

The inspiration for this is a post that an user made the other night, talking about all the massive amounts of OC, infographs, archive links, and other content that have been lost to the aether since #GG began.

I think that most of the information is still there, lost in people's Holla Forums folders and Bookmarks toolbars spread across the global Internet. What if we had a single site where people could just dump all of their #GG related stuff and let it be sorted, categorized, and catalogued for easy searching and viewing. A sort of GG Library, or even a museum.

The amount of work would be massive, but is within the scope of my technical abilities. It would be a long-term project, not unlike Deepfreeze, and anons would be needed to help sort through the mountains of data.

Is there enough interest that it would be worth tackling, you think?

If you aren't playing co-op you're playing the game on easy mode. Singleplayer enemies have so little health that you don't really have to learn or dodge their patterns at all.
But really the boss fights aren't too difficult. It's all pattern recognition and the pattern is exactly the same every time, although some bosses change the order they do their patterns. The really difficult parts are the run and gun stages unless you use the smoke dash to just run past every obstacle, and you need to do that anyway if you want to play with the black and white filter.

People complained and from there "Let's Play" was used as a more acceptable term. After the Minecraft explosion the term was solidified.

To be fair, people watch let's players for the comentary more than for the gameplay.

It was used a lot during the old days of youtube compilation videos mostly to highlight the astonishment between two characters and then moving on to something completely different. Imagine as the pitches begin to play, the scene would go back and forth between two characters, each of their faces showing shock or disgust. By the time it reaches the orchestra it dramatically shows the object they're reacting to or something completely random to cause the viewer to laugh.
