Hackers Memory is a parallel story from what i gather. its probably a sequel or straight out a story that happens simultaneously with Cyber Sleuth (as in at the same time).

i've already complained about cybersleuth's gameplay too much. it was shit, easily broken, and too straight-forward. Like you said piercing moves make the whole game a joke and """hard""" mode is too easy until the royal knights, then its straight out IMPOSSIBLE because they gave them like 2000 speed and your maximum speed is about 750, even with full trainings, accesories, and a speed-type 'mon. the trainings are also shit because you can only add 100 points total when the stat bars clearly go up to 999, but you can never ever get 999 of any stat no matter the 'mon because LOL 100 POINT LIMIT.

Oh man, that episode of Applimon was pretty hype. The only thing that could have possibly made it better is if Tora actually had a role in getting the antenna working. Eri fought Yuujin, Hackerlad hacked, and Haru got it pointing upwards, but Tora just kind of sat around doing jackshit. Even all the Appmons had a role in making it towards the firewall. Outside of that, it was a great penultimate episode, bringing together all the major players, upping the stakes, and managing to showcase the strong points of pretty much everyone.

Except Tora cause he's a fucking loser apparently. Just one more episode left on this ｋｉｎｏ childrens show.

I'd say go in chronological order from World 1 and then skip to whatever looks interesting after that. All of the World games are different in gameplay and story so you don't have to worry if you decide to skip any of them. The ones I'd recommend are 1, 3, any of the DS games except Championship, Re:Digitize, and Cyber Sluts.

The Dark Area (the dark sea) is an extension of the digital world. In many ways, it's basically "hell" and it's a graveyard of where all dead/outdated data goes. The result of this is that many digimon, such as the 7 sins (who aren't innately evil) have attained power that most digimon normally can't get by "feeding" off of this.

Dagomon is a combination of Dagon and Cthulhu and the black creatures that abducted Hikari are the example of the common type of creature in that place; formless blobs that we can't make any sense out of.

Demon, the Sin of Wrath, used the dark area to cultivate Arcadiamon, a digimon who was a wild beast and even in baby form, was devouring adult and perfect digimon. Demon let Arcadiamon continue devouring until he was in super Ultimate mode, then Demon devoured Arcadiamon, breaking the Ultimate limit and become Super Ultimate.

Basically, many levels and such mean jack shit as anything native to the dark area is leagues more powerful than anything else in the normal digital world as even the royal knights would be hard pressed to put up a proper fight.

02 is canon, tri is canon, but despite what is said, nothing says 02's epilogue will happen in Tri's timeline.

Depends. Sleuth is a traditional turn based RPG. Next 0rder is like digimon world 1, but you get 2 digimon and you get a lot of handy enhancements to make your life easier.

So despite there being two digimon games, the yaren't anything alike and the creators are considering making these a strong series, one set as an RPG, the other as a monster raising sim.

Yes, it's good. Retards and whiners will cry till the end of time that it's terrible because the appmon designs aren't giant dinosaurs and there is lots of CGI, but anyone well-versed in current anime trends should be familiar with such things. It's a pretty fun childrens anime that doesn't tryhard. The plot, while fairly simple, is executed well. The pacing is pretty smooth the entire way through and doesn't drag at any particular points. The characters have individuality and sufficient development and focus throughout the series (none of that bullshit where only the MC is relevant come the final episodes.) Karan Eri is cute.

Overall, I would rate it 7/10 as a good childrens show. For comparisons sake, I'd say it's infinitely better than Frontier and 02, but obviously inferior to Adventure and Tamers. Also, if you're looking for deep meta-narratives and interactivity with the rest of the Digimon universe, then look elsewhere.

Better hope everyone's up-to-date on their LORE (especially the third post), because the 5th movie in the Digimon Tri series just got translated, and some serious shit goes down:

And what an ending it was! I was incredibly surprised that it was resolved through talking. After the God appmons beat the shit out of Leviathan's physical body, of course. I didn't think the show was going to be mature enough to let Haru actually tackle that final question at the end in a realistic way. Thought for sure it'd be some 'I choose neither' power of friendship bullshit, but apparently the show had one last surprise left in store for the viewers. Well, Yuujin didn't allow him to push the button and seppuku'd himself instead, but it had just about the same impact.

It was a good show. They could have implemented the burgeoning conundrum and ethics of genuine artificial intelligence a bit more, but I blame that more on the target demographic. Can't get too philosophical and nuanced when preaching to 12 year olds who want to see dinosuar battles, after all. Also a bit less CGI would be have been ace but Toei are some cheap ass niggers, so good luck on that.

The only true negative was the lack of Unryuuji Knight. That dude, and his arc, was awesome. They needed to keep him a villian till the end. He was a perfect foil for Haru and his presence and rhetoric alone did more for the MC's character development than the rest of the series combined. He was just way too wasted on being a mere throw-away pawn, especially since Yuujin was a mega poor replacement.

Damn, I must still have a ways to go. I'm still just trying to figure out getting ExE to work, and/or get myself Mastemon. I actually was able to get Rosemon BM some time ago, but that was by ExE (Rosemon x2, at a time before I had the evolution blockers at the dojo).

you need the relationship triangle to be a perfect 100/100/100.

beyond-mega digimon cannot ExE (for example, Susanoomon, Crimson-Dukemon, Omegamon, Chaosmon, etc.) if one of the two digimon is in a stage of evolution beyond Mega, you cannot ExE.
Rookies/In-Training/Babies cannot ExE either.
Special evolutions (like OmegaShoutmon and Arresterdramon, who are actually a champion-stage who cannot evolve beyond that stage) also cannot ExE.

when these conditions are met. you can press both L and R at the same time and the ExE option should be whited out instead of red. i believe the stats just add up. and i believe they break the stat limit too (ie: if you ExE two 'mon with 9999 Strength, the result will go to 19998, but i haven't verified this).

I could probably figure that much, if I'm using ExE just to reach those forms. The rest I learned through having that first pair that I could ExE (including the once-per-day limit). That just leaves me curious as to how they're reached without ExE, considering I had Rosemon, yet no path forward from there. Maybe I should phrase my question like this-

Here is the biggest twist. Digimon are mono gendered.

By that ,I mean that digimon are obviously male, female, or non (hagurumon), but the actual method of reproduction isn't dependent on that. Digimon reproduce via their special organ, the Digisoul. The Digisoul is what contains a digimon's memories, establishes a connection with a human, and can even reconstitute a digimon who's physical body was shattered due to too much damage. Many high grade lethal digimon have attacks that specifically target this organ, because if it isn't destroyed, the digimon can return (Vajramon did it in Tamers and Mugendramon did it via attaining an indestructible digisoul).

Reproduction of digimon is attained several ways, but for a 1 on 1 reproduction, it looks like this; two digimon expose their digicores, mingle excess data and create an egg. However, digimon don't play the parent part of it because digimon young either grow up in safe places or they just go by survival of the fittest. "Mother" and "father" don't apply to digimon, and neither does "family" other than in reference to a category. This is why digimon generally can backstab eachother with no remorse.

Digimon emulate earth life, at least in terms of mimicking it. They have forms of things we put into computers, they speak our languages, and of course, the the sheer amount of porn, they emulate that, except there is no tie into reproduction via that physical act.

Digimon are aliens, in probably the most extreme sense of the word and we try to view them as earth-like creatures or just programs, and every time someone tries that, all hell breaks loose because they don't fit into those categories. Don't worry about burst modes, just focus on keeping the diner nice and open and regularly feeding your digimon there to keep that friendship 100/100/100.

No, you can get her if you have angewomon and ladydevimon though if you beat te EX mission where you have to fight Aids Cat/meicrackmon, if you have her, she can evolve directly into Mastemon

I'm finally getting around to playing Cyber Sluts. I knew nothing about this game besides how sexual the girls were, and I'm not really enjoying it like I imagined. It's practically a VN and fetch-quest simulator.

The battles and gameplay are babby-tier and literally automatic, the digivolving is just stat-checks and guesswork (on what you're going to get), the plot isn't impressive, and good fucking god it needs to drop about 50,000 words. I'm on chapter 5, going slowly, so will it pick up later on?
