i don't have a lot of gear to work with so now the heaviest thing i got to work with is 45lb dumbells and those are starting to get easier for certain exercises like DBP and shoulder presses, and chest/shoulders are areas i'm really concerned about for my body

also no access to racks for heavier lifting so i'm not doing big squats or deadlifts, but i'm too much of a pussy to join a gym

Have you tried varying the types of exercises you're doing to shock your body? Over time your body adapts to your training regimen, which could be slowing your growth as well, other than your limited options.

Also, if you're not already, you can try some advanced techniques like Supersetting, forced negatives, and dropsets to increase the difficulty and push further.

i lift occasionally. i've been running for years myself and i just feel great but don't look it so i've kinda slowly been picking it up. how long did it take you to bridge the gap and start feeling great while lifting? in the beginning it was just torture for me but now it feels kind of okay sometimes and sometimes, when i eat a lot, it even feels great to do it but i wanna know how long and hard i gotta keep going at it to start loving it. cause with running it's like, i just run uphill for an hour and i get that metal, bloody taste in my mouth and snot is running down my face and i'm absolutely tired as fuck but i'm loving it and it just feels amazing. when will i get there with lifting?

i'm always looking up stuff to try at home anything to talk myself out of having to work out around people, haven't heard of supersetting yet though so i'll look that up

i dunno about legs. there've been times when i haven't gone running for a month and i loved it just as much as soon as i got back into it. however, i was indeed weaker and couldn't go as hard as previously. type of training huh? idk, i just lift dumbbells and i do the one where you stand still with the weights at your pelvis and the wrists turned forward, away from you and you bring the weights up to your shoulders and lower them continuously. the next one i do is where i basically do the same except i turn my wrists inwards towards my pelvis (in a natural, idle hands stance) and bring the weights up to my shoulders. for the next one i go to a table and use one hand to lean against it so that my back is straight and i'm not putting any pressure on it and then i just lift in kind of a "turning on the lawnmower" motion, you know what i mean? kinda like pulling something at your pelvis height with one hand. for the next one i raise the weights to my chest with my elbows pointing forward and basically just raise them upwards, above my head and when i'm a bit above my head, i twist the elbows outwards. this one gets really tough and i can't do as many reps with it as with the others. i also do pushups and sometimes some back exercises. i used to do situps too but that shit had no effect whatosever and it was just a pain in the ass to do so fuck situps. i do like 20 reps and a max of 2 sets for each of those exercises except for the one where i lift the weights above my head. i can usually only go like 15 and then 10 if i do 2 sets with that one. i think i tend to do longer reps.

It's pretty good. I've managed to avoid spoilers as I go, and there's some 4d chess shit going on here. Kevin Spacey does a great job with the role.

It's pretty good, but even after spending 5 years on Holla Forums whenever characters were speaking strictly in political terms to each other it may as well have been Star Trek technobabble to me technobabble is a real word?. It's really interesting to see a series with NO good or likable characters, but you can't look away from the screen, it's like a burning house. Powerplays, backstabs, Kevin Spacey… it's probably made by somebody who's had some real experiences on the hill and hates it with a passion.
I didn't watch all of it, because by mid second season episodes tended to drag on and I just lost interest. I still strongly recommend it.

In the first episode he kills a neighbor's dog with his bare hands after it gets hit by a vehicle partially to put it out of its misery but mostly because he can so he must. Everyone with a hint of likability ends up either disgraced or dead. Any nobility or character development will turn out to be faked. The seasons are a long string of gambits that will always turn out to be just as planned with few complications. You will either love it or despise it, based on your tolerance for pain and monologues. Also there's a bunch of asides to the audience but it doesn't get too up its own ass about it.

I forgot the beginning of the game was the worst shit ever. You can't move freely until 4 hours in, you can't hide until you get ann in your party, you can only do two fucking slinks until you take care of kamoshida. I remember seeing people bitch that persona 3 had a slow opening, but fuck me i've seen tectonic plates speed along faster than persona 5 does.

the worst part is the escape ability is completely fucking useless until you do a thoroughly unenjoyable slink that goes fucking nowhere that you can't even do until 60 hours into the game at which point it's not even fucking useful.
