I don't see the hardware itself dropping in price anytime soon. The memory card prices are bullshit, but luckily you don't really need anything too big since it's just for save data, and some games save to the cartridge anyway.

The abridged parody ended up being considered a superior version due having a much more coherent story and actual character depth and development. That should tell you all you need to know about this show.

Doesn't look that good to be honest. SAO Hollow Realization looks way more fun. Where you can nearly poison yourself to death to deal Disgaea tier damage. Not the whole game is as absurd as that vid shows though. My main gripe about the game is it not being hard enough combined with many of the enemies not being fun to fight due to them not having many moves to make them interesting.

You can have the same setting but expanded on differently though a different cast. Also .hack doing it first (assuming it did. Not saying it came out SAO though) doesn't mean the setting stops becoming interesting just because it shows up somewhere else. It's no doubt a terrible show but at least the girls have nice designs. That's about it really.

I was wondering why so many people died so fast until I realized SAO is designed to be a terrible game from the ground up. Enemies don't even respawn after so many are killed and Kirito just decides to soak up all the EXP for himself. And being a high level is so important to the point you can take 20 axes to the face and regen the damage while standing still. So the best plan would be to have a single group of OP players while everyone else rests in town and supports them with information.

And Bamco decided to "fix" this by implementing bosses with bloated as fuck defense and HP in Fighters of the Blue Sky to see how many arms they could twist to buy the DLCs, which have literally all the endgame content, including all the best weapons, new tiers of skills, and a level cap increase from 80 to 999. You literally don't have access to ANY endgame content without the DLC. This bullshit made me decide never to buy anything published by Bamco again.

So that's what is in that DLC? Well I have many other better games to play so I'm not even butthurt about it. I do hope they apply some of the ideas in this game's combat to something else though. They were actually heading in a nice direction with the combat.
