Leaf starter is somewhat okay, but when you're putting a leaf collar around it, people are gonna expect some sort of flower on the top.

The fire starter has no association with fire, so maybe you should consider changing his hair or tail into fire or something, or have some sort of burning element. It's up to you, but to an average viewer, your art needs to say "fire" without any sort of extra elaboration.
