Good evening Holla Forums, I am the Board Owner of >>>/bmn/ and run the weekly Bad Movie Night stream a few of you may have heard about. The purpose of this thread is to serve as an invitation to any and all anons of this board to join in our 1 year anniversary celebration stream.
I hope you will join us Saturday night for a celebration of the best I have to offer. The night will be more than double stuffed compared to normal nights, with 7 movies instead of 3, all from the glory pile. The show list includes: Dracula 3000, Alien vs Ninja, Vampiyaz, Bug Buster, Robot Wars, Evolver, and 90210 Shark Attack. The first 6 earned their places for relative bits of quality, entertainment value or even fun, while 90210 Shark attack earned its spot by dumbfounding everyone with how awful it was.
I hope you will join us for this occasion, both to join us in shitposting about bad movies with other anons, and to enjoy a small project I have been working on for this occasion. Information about the anniversary stream can be found on >>>/bmn/49 or in pic related.

BMN is a weekly stream, every Saturday, and has been since August 2016. With this weekend being the exception, see pic related for regular show times. Three movies a night is our standard.
I don't have any plans for this Sunday, but I am open to ideas.

The selection of movies are audience favorites, hence their selection. While you're right about everyone having seen it, I source most of my collection from pawn shops and video stores in my area, just to see what I can find. Oddly enough, I've yet to come across a disc or vhs of The Room.

I suppose it's because the reputation of the room practically proceeds it, and anyone actually interested in it would just watch it online or whathaveyou. Whoa, video stores are still around? My local blockbuster closed down a while ago, and I can't actually think of a place right now that dedicatedly does shit like that and only that local except maybe the local supermarket where you can get a dvd on the cheap, but the only place that would probably still do VHS would be charity shops. Shit son.
I imagine Code's starting earlier because there'll be more movies for the anniversary.

Indeed, it's pretty great. The couple that are around me are not even chain stores, so their selection is far more than the usual Hollywood shit, which is great.

You're correct, cash for tapes. I doubt they have done that for a long time, and just haven't sold their stock in years. Finding a good VHS player with a digital output is also a rarity, which is unfortunate for someone who has a more than casual interest in forgotten media.
That's crazy dude.. I imagine they have to stock something else other than VHS in there too, otherwise I can't imagine how they can really afford to keep their doors open. DVDs are on their way out too I think, but I assume they do those in their as well and maybe whatever else they can get their hands on out of desperation eh? Man I wish I had something like that near me.
