Militaryfag here. Recently we went over "Diversity in the workspace" and "Transgender" training.

It's pretty bizarre the things they are forced to put out and half of the time the people giving the training don't believe this shit but are told to give the training anyway. In the diversity one, there's a chart showing Caucasians and minorities in the Navy over a period of time. The navy's plan was to bring more minorities in the military. The chart goes over 3 time periods. 1993, 2013, and 2050 (what they predict it will be). In 1993, it was about 80% caucasian and 20% minority. In 2013 it was about 70/30. Now in 2050 it's 50/50. But with every time gap, caucasians would be removed instead of minorities simply increasing.

I understand that the navy has a certain number of people they want in general. Yet, according to this chart, they would blatantly have to reject caucasians over and over while only allowing minorities to join. Meanwhile they would have to kick out more caucasians while letting minorities stay. They keep saying the navy is so strong due to diversity, then why do we win so many battles without the huge amount of minorities we have now? When I said "Wait, why are the caucasians being removed?" people just laughed thinking it was a joke. Do they not see what's going on?

Next was the transgender training and that was fun. People had all sorts of bizarre questions and most were just confused. One guy tried arguing "We're just one chromosome apart.
