He made it more apparent how bourgeois democracy will always serve the needs of capital first and foremost?

...

Minimum wage, repealing Section 28, increasing public spending. It's petty reformist stuff but it still counts.

Did he do anything wrong?

anyone got anymore blair memes

...

Haha this makes me both laugh and burn up with hatred on the inside.

nice, hail tony

Got Labour into power after 18 years in opposition and won three terms.

Yeah, good friday agreement and st andrews agreement.

That's it.

I always wondered why my dad uncritically supported Blair, but my god, 7 years of tory government has nearly destroyed me, another decade on top of this and I'd worship anyone who beats the bastards

Tories are pure evil

cracks me up every time

think this is more appropriate for Blairites these days though

I hate democracy so much

I hate the fucking fact that The Sun is seen as a positive thing in the UK, and it's endorsement is something you use to get elected.
God our country is so fucking fucked, I want to cry sometimes

god this brings back so much nostalgia for the 2000s,when Blair was PM and people seemed to think things could only go up after the end of the conflict ridden 21st century.then we had 9/11…

20th century*

Reminder that the average Brit wanks themselves to sleep every night to the thought of children going hungry.

He had to hide his poll card to disguise the fact that he didn't even vote for himself

I don't think that's so true these days

I think pretty much everyone under 35 doesn't trust the S*n

Problem is the pensioners and the Tory shires

Don't worry, they've finally moved onto cannibalising their core vote.

We can only hope the winter fuel allowance goes so we can finally kill some of them off

he voted for arthur scargill's socialist labour

Iraq. That's it. If 9/11 never happened Blair would go down as one of the greatest prime ministers in British history.

Stop yoou're making me hot and bothered.

Except for the whole orchestrating a load of primary school kids being shot. That was not a highlight.

He was still a shitty privatiser sellout that did nothing about any of the country's problems

I don't think most anybody under the age of 25 even reads a paper anymore, unless its a copy of the Metro on public transport and your phone died, even then the Metro is shit and you're just reading it to waste time

What are you referring to?

I can't blame them. I picked up the Sunday edition the other day and it was full of a bunch of bullshit ads and pandering to olds. Even the comics section is like half ads now. All I really wanted it for was the job listings, and there was only like a page and a half.

I don't know if major stuff like NYT or WaPo is any better, but my local is shit on a shingle.

Dunblane.

But Blair wasn't even in power when that happened.

What the fuck this is some Mandela effect shit.

We need a new Cromwell

kek

how would dunblaine be his fault anyway

because THINGS
