It isn't that unfair. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has some fucked up item rates, but in normal MK8 the second place has a very low chance of getting a red shell.

It is that unfair, the person in the lead according to "Pros" at the game has at average a chance to get knocked to 4th place minimum against other good players just based on how fucked over you get not by just the blue shell, but a series of events that will take place after it

That's the reason if you want to win at the game you always hang back to 2nd place till the last stretch, after which you gun for the lead driver because he will indeed get hit with every piece of autistic shit the game will let the players throw at him simply because he is in first

I used to use XMedia Recode, but that thing is unreliable, an user introduced me to StaxRIP two days ago and it's a god send. It's basically just a GUI for ffmpeg.
In StaxRIP you have the regular CROP function to move the borders of video's screen and you use the PREVIEW function to select a … well, section of the video you want to use. Only downside is you can't actually watch a video in that mode, maybe I'm just not aware of it.
