I sorta only occasionally browsed image boards for a few years, and it wasn't until recently that I started to make it a daily thing.
I'm more or less a newfag myself, I've been here for only a couple weeks and I have noticed Holla Forums growing quite a lot. I started coming here because I'm tired of hearing autistic Holla Forumstard trash and I'm not okay with the current state of capitalism.
But I have this feeling that Holla Forums is about to grow even larger, and this may be happening fast with the shitshow happening right now.
There are about to be a surge in population, but I feel that this surge will come with a LOT of newfags.
Hopefully it won't be a flood of intense spergs though.

I started lurking back in early 2016 when Holla Forums started to leak into every board, but now I've only just recently started posting because Holla Forums has started leaking into normalfags through facebook
What with the /r/soc drama and trump being president we'll probably see more newfags arrive, we'll probably get some hipster alt right kids in the mix who're annoyed they actually "won" something for once and want to jump aboard the next thing they see as a losing battle.

I give it maybe little less than a decade for Holla Forums to gain massive popularity and become a cultural influence like Holla Forums has.
