The patched version actually looks infinitely better in a variety of ways. It's brighter, more colorful, more dynamic, and missing Ryder's ugly fucking mug in a few places; it actually showcases the environment in a decently put-together cinematic. Putting the two side-by-side really just shows how awful the team that made the game in the first place was.
