There's 3 perks that in combination that are so broken and busted that its insane and devs seem content to do nothing, probably because of the huge streamer community that starbreeze constantly panders to.

These perks are as follows:

Sprint Burst: When you start running you move faster, at the highest level its something like 6 seconds of running like sonic.

Self Heal: Heal yourself with no healing items, apparently just rubbing yourself makes the chainsaw marks go away.

Borrowed time: If you get hit with a deathblow while taking someone off the hook, you don't go down and you can run around for 25 fucking seconds unless someone heals you in which case the timer stops.

These perks in combo let survivors run a train on killers at times, moreso if they're rolling a group and only using these perks, the other problem is the people who use them are such colossal assholes about it to, they are firmly aware the killer has a huge uphill climb because of them and they know it.

The other is the devs having learned nothing it seems as they introduced a new map filled to the brim with pallets and yet another window infinite.

Kritzkrieg is best on heavies to be honest. Critrockets might be the most devastating individually, but a rain of guaranteed crit bullets with no damage dropoff is doom itself.

Heavies are preferable for virtually every other medigun, but the short range of the minigun means soldiers (and demos) are better for kritz on most maps.

Miniguns on critz admittedly are comically killy in smaller corridors, though.

Onscreen button prompts are cancer to begin with, but become absolute bullshit when PC games insist on giving you XBOX button prompts. Doubly so because all the Xbox buttons are in the wrong place.

Being told to push "A" (when the game actually means the button that's where B/X should be) or "X" (when the game actually means the button that's where Y/Square should be) is needlessly confusing. When I play pyro I can NOT sneak up on anybody. I've tried, there is not a single class I can sneak up on that doesn't immediately 180 and kill me while they're burning, and most of the time they do not die from afterburn. It's infuriating that I can't even whip out the axetinguisher fast enough to get that mini crit before I get shotgunned or get forced to suck on scout's thick hard bat.
Like I said, I can literally NEVER land a backstab, usually the target will always turn 1 degree while I'm behind them in the time span it takes a gnat to avoid a hand swatting it before I stab, and I've blown my cover. To be able to backstab a target that's been standing perfectly still whacking away at a sentry doesn't feel like a great accomplishment.

I was still hosting servers that were focused on hardcore survival mods and usually themed around certain things, but I gave up when I realized I was spending more configuring shit and fixing other shit than actually playing and having fun.
I might make a few mods that let people load new blocks/items/recipes from configs but maybe not since I'm pretty fucking busy now and would rather play games than mod shit in my spare time.

You figure engineer is already a hot target because obviously if they pick up a building you can kill two birds with one stone, so engineer is usually unable to move anywhere in really tight maps and just rebuilding anything sucks because of how long it takes. Making it so they're marked for death during a move is just adding injury to insult.

Magazine change and then tilting it ~45 degrees so you can see if it feeds properly and its much more easier and intuitive.

Doing a few drills really imprinted it on me. I was back on target faster and with less effort to get the gun back onto the target before firing.
But kicking the old mag out with the fresh and racking over the top is just a lot of excessive movements that you have to retrace.

as a strelo/k/ this always makes me legitimately mad. say what you will about MGSV:TPP but kojima did his weapons right in that game.

I would love it if devs made a part of the game in some fps shooter that you would only know ammo by whole mags, and that you would have to find more mags and RELOAD THEM when you find boxes of bullets around the game. Guns and ammo have always been treated as how much water you have to spray out of a water gun.
Maybe in VR someone will make a game that would have intractable "clothes" that have so many pockets for mags. You would have to reach around your body and maybe even require you to have a chair that the Vive would identify for you to sit down in when you go to reload your mags.

i get why that's not done; it's a realism fudge for playability and quality of life as a player. but having said that, it would be fucking cool to do that. if not in VR, then a small mini game of loading the bullets into the mags, with maybe the mag itself weighing slightly less if you reloaded it quickly and correctly, and an improperly loaded mag causing weapon jams that need to be fixed.

With VR it's more probable than anything else, since you have "hands" to do things with. They've already had that in one game where you have to pull back the slide or hit "push down" on the mag release to reload a gun.
I can see it really fit it in with all these stupid survival games, or even in horror games where you have very limited ammo and you would have to count how many bullets you have left on person.

You would have spare mags that had to be reloaded with keyboard button presses. It was mapped to use pistols to how they are in VR now.
