Most of the games I played as a kid are from companies that are; dead/defunct/bankrupt/altered/hollow shells of their former selves today.

I would have listed gamefreak, but they seem to still make some side projects that aren't newer copy/paste Pokémon games. Tembo the badass elephant and Harmoknight were both fun.
