DKC1 had 101%, DKC2 had 102%, and DKC3 had 103%. You know, for secrets.

I believe DK64 had 100.4% because of how item numbers were calculated (there's a 201st Golden Banana that makes it not an even 100%). Cheating can roll it up to 132% if you sequence break repeatedly

It depends just what you're doing, though. I forget, but is the last 20% in Spyro all from Gnasty's Loot? You collect a shitton of gems there, so if it takes 100% to unlock that and then you collect 20% more gems, it makes sense.

However, I remember giving up on Crash Bash when I got to like 150% and wasn't even close to the end. Plus that game is hard as fuck.

The 100% reward for Spider-Man: The Movie: The Game is you unlock The Green Goblin, who plays the same levels but has a new story with new dialogue from all the characters. You play as Harry trying to figure out what the fuck happened to make his dad become a supervillain. It has completely different controls from Spidey but works incredibly well. That game is incredibly underrated. Sure the open world in the sequel is neat and everything, but the previous 3D games were still all great.

Classic Resident Evil games don't have 100% rewards but beating the game enough times and skillfully enough nets you nearly all of these rewards. Also 007 Goldeneye's cheat menu was godlike.

It depends. Sometimes stuff doesn't feel like a reward so much as the true final level. But the argument could be made, sure.

One of the big problems that I've found with 100% rewards in RPGs is that you get some kind of uber sword or something and then you have nothing left to use it on.

Any RPG that does that should let you use it in New Game + or it's just a waste.

Or Continue +. There's not nearly enough use of Continue + in games.

And then you finally get it in Galaxy, but it's practically exactly the same and thus boring as fuck.

However, if you then 100% the game as Luigi, you do get a pretty cool secret level. But good god getting it is boring.

If you finish/complete all missions in KH Days you unlock King Mickey/Sora for multiplayer. Mickey hits like a truck and Sora has one of the games best Limit Breaks, Ragnarok.

New Game + starts the game over from the beginning but you get to keep things like character level, non key, items things like that. Sometimes it gives you a greater dificculty level sometimes not. Think Chrono Trigger or Dark Souls.
Continue + lets you continue playing in a post game environment with all your items and levels. Usually it involves unlocking super hard bonus missions or an entire new dungeon or even region. Dragon Quest 8 would be a good example.
Some games like Nioh sort of split the difference between New Game + and Continue +.

So Continue+ is just another term for Postgame then? I liked the first Pokemon Ranger's, you got several extra missions to fight Legendary Pokemon like Kyogre and Rayquaza. FE Sacred Stones' Creature Campaign was cool too, because you could recruit all the major NPCs/Bosses that died in the main story.

Basically. As opposed to having all the bonus dungeons, sidequests, etc. to be completed just before the final boss.
