Is it normal for recently released games to have a massively extended initial boot up these days? Tried running a disc install earlier, and while the data copying and unpacking went fine, my PS3 got stuck in the initial load cycle for it. Had to quit back to the main XMB and rerun the game, and that time it loaded just fine. I've not noticed it with older PS3 games, just the more recent releases.

It's become a favorite game of mine. Also nice that it's a pretty cheap one to find a copy of too (rest of the series tends to range from maybe $20-60, depending on the entry. Hope you enjoy it.

I do feel I might as well mention that WA3 has a lot of call backs to the first game in the series, and while the series on the whole are a bunch of standalone entries, due to recurring elements, there's a fair potential that WA3 is a distant sequel to WA1/ACF.

It just has open/close, power, play, and stop on the face of it. I was hoping that with the remote I could choose which episodes to watch, as opposed to having to watch them all in a row.

The "up/right/down/left/select" panel should work just fine with DVDs, but for some reason it doesn't want to. Maybe I have to program each button? Not sure.
