The entirety of Left 4 Dead 2 takes place in the South. That said, I don't know of much that takes place in Georgia besides it, a little bit of Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, and the Walking Dead in general, which is strange since after Hollywood and New York, Georgia or at least Atlanta's the biggest place for people to film shit.

I'm saying the restrictions that apply to Television shows when it comes to location don't apply to videogame development. To move a television crew across the planet would take thousands. Of course you can still have locations in America, but when developing videogames you've the freedom to set them anywhere you can imagine so it makes sense there would be a broader range of settings for videogames as opposed to real life where there are more restrictions.

Don't forget Bully. That game had no supernatural shite or anything but still had a lot of character and atmosphere.

It gets thrown away for two reasons. One being that if they let the employees just go home with free food, they'd be incentivized to not sell as much, because that would mean less free food for them. Two being that if you sold outdated food (at a lower cost) many people would just wait to buy it instead of buying it at the ridiculously marked up prices they need to make their profits at. Large store chains have such low overhead and squeeze by on virtue of having so many stores. Or a few very successful stores feeding a bunch of little ones which are there for the pure reason of eating away market share of competitors.
