If you want to skip MEGA's limit, use Jdownloader 2. Install it and copy the MEGA URL to your clipboard and it will automatically add it to the downloader, and it skips limits.
If you want, you can also use Jdownloader 2 to download from sites like Emuparadise above. it searches the web page to find the file it thinks you're after (100% accuracy on Emuparadise) and skips things like Captchas.

Not exactly the best release, but it's well seeded and worst you'll get from an RG installer is a shitty 4 second intro at the start of a game or a installer in Russian. If the installer is in Russian, when it gives you an option to choose from 2 boxes, tick the one not ticked to swap to English. The intro can be removed by deleting the video file from the installation.

Eador genesis is free on gog if anyone wants to give it a try. It's a 4x game with a alignment system that decides how often good or bad random events happen to you. You also get branching paths on your heroes and stuff. The combat is like Homm while the leveling system is more like a rpg since your regular units can level up their stats as well.

I've noticed GOG's stats on game sizes is always off, all the time.

From my experience both Neverwinter Nights GOG pirate installers comes with both the installer, and a BIN image, and sometimes extra materials. Another reason GOG installers are big is because of multiple language support. That said both my neverwinter GOG installer folders combined takes just over 10 GB of space and that's only because of all the stuff I described above, the actual installers are pretty small. But despite this both games were double the respective size of each folder. From looking at my files it's the data folders of both that's taking up all the space, so I can only surmise that the game is completely uncompressed and stuffed with unused assets. I guess if you're really suspicious you could go for a steam rip instead, but good fucking luck with that.

I tried the latest repack of Nier and I've been paranoid ever since it finished downloading. Is that going to be "safe"? I'm not sure how niche it can be considered, or how out of the way it is, I know game companies don't usually bother with this stuff. How worried should I be? I know with letters these companies tend to be practically instantaneous, so usually if you make it past 24 hours it's safe.

Linux has Shipwrecked, but it looks like it's a build from February 2016, before it even had its official release. (And also has two weird mods included: a Russian translation and something called screecher.) Shipwrecked was still getting updated till at least November.

the PC file has base game and Reign of Giants, but doesn't even seem to list Don't Starve: Shipwrecked DLC at all.

Ask for people to find it, or find it yourself and post it.

Honestly, I don't trust those people one bit, if they're an open source project as they say they are, then why the hell is there all this adware and malware in their downloads?

Don't know if there's anything new, but Amiibos just use generic NFC tags, so you can read them with any NFC reader to dump them.
To use the backups, you'd need rewriteable NFC tags, which vary in price.

What you want is something like the N2 elite. It's aimed for the 3DS, but it's all the same shit.

Other than that, you could just buy a stack of NFC tags and a writer, then get all the amiibo backups from 3DSISO and make a tag for each amiibo.

That's what i thought and i tried merging it with the already existing "FILE" folder. I also have all of the files in the "EU" folder as well just in case and it has had no effect. I assume the SteamConfig is what is holding me back but i have no idea how to use it.

That SteamConfig file has something to do with using Steam Wrappers.
I'm not well versed in how they work, so you'd need another user to come about.
All I know about them is you make a throwaway account to use the game with.

I've been playing the game just fine without using any of the steam stuff. Now that I'm getting towards the end of the game's main story I've wanted to add in all the DLC and that's the only issue to come so far. Also, Clementine is a good program absolutely my favorite of all the programs I've tried so far. My only complaint is it will freeze up on a song once in a while. Typically on FLAC songs or other songs with a large file size.

All of those steamconfigs are from the dlc download. I just copy pasted them to every place i did the dlc files. The only steam files that came with the game are the steam_api, steam_api64.dll, steam000.wow, and steam001.wow

Fairly sure this one is correct. Razer1911 released one crack at ~25GB then another pack with an update and the DLC at another ~25GB, so this seems to be both of those merged.

Run it sandboxed if it looks dodgy to you, I'm not well versed in loonux, but Razer1911 seem to specialise in Linux cracks.

One, anyone know of an HD fan edit of the original trilogy Star Wars movies? For as long as the blu ray sets out there don't give the option to uncheck some of the dumb special edition changes like Greedo getting a shot off on Han in the cantina during A New Hope, or Darth Vader yelling noooo during Return of the Jedi then I just can't bring myself to buy the blu rays even if it means missing out on Star Wars in HD. If there happens to be any fan edits with HD source material cutting out the crap and maybe even putting in some of the deleted scenes back in with the theatrical versions then that would be awesome (like a director's cut and how they restore scenes that were cut from the version shown in theaters).

Another thing I was wondering, does anyone know of a good site that has uploads of strategy guides and similar materials for games? Like scans or various other things that older games in particular got back in the day when print material was much more in demand. I'm hoping to archive all those different guides on my computer if there's a site that has that sort of thing with a plethora of strategy guides uploaded. I remember I used to occasionally take a look at old Final Fantasy Prima guides and sometimes they'd have some cool artwork or renders in some pages too.
