Now he's trying to bring people in by practically tracing over the p5 art and aesthetic and stealing terms. One of the pics is just Hifumi traced over with no hair decorations. The creator seems like a talent-less hack on par with "original character, donut steel" people just combining things he thinks are cool. Anyone got more info on this? Hoping to get a laugh.

Also I'm reading his faq and apparently he gets sad that people are calling him out on ripping off persona. He's saying that he based his art on the persona series but from what I've seen so far, he's blatantly tracing over preexisting art and not simply making new art based on the style. you are being way to liberal with the term tracing. You have to do alot of fiddling in photoshop to line up the images. Take for example this *.gif. One is a painting I did using the image as a source , the other is the source warped with the transform tool to attempt to line up with my painting. However the painting, all be it a copy of the source is not traced. Most people don't have photographic memory. Artist use source material all the time, weather it be live models or looking at photos for reference, even the Renaissance masters had source material for reference which is why thy did so many drawings of (often nude) models (for reference). I am not doubting that the artist used someone else work as reference. I am doubting the claim that it is traced.

You're the one that is using tracing too literally. You don't have to line up the image on top of a blank sheet of paper and literally trace every line.
You're example is a bit of a stretch because you're painting a posed 3D model, kinda like painting a real life model person, there's no traces on the original.
But doing that to another drawing or painting to the point that some traces are almost identical is enough to be considered tracing, direct or not.
In the end the point isn't if it's techically tracing or not, just that it's blatant plagiarism of another artist's work.

The "artist" tried to defend himself with influence and inspiration argument but people noticed on his DeviantArt page he said if "you" steal his work you'll pay with money. He appeared not to value art at all. Dunno the ending of this, but I'm pretty fucking sure he certainly didn't work professionally ever since.
In general, people see copied and unoriginal artwork have less value in their eyes, and Spencer clearly doesn't even look to try to be original with those sprites and other elements obliviously taken from P5 as screenshots show. There's difference between using references for natural looking poses, anatomies and perspectives and even styles, and just blatant copying and being lazy to try to do anything new.
Professional comic artists especially cheat a lot to spare time and meet deadlines, and there's nothing wrong with that as long as they make good artwork and don't copy or even steal from other artists.

I know, I meant to say that you were being the opposite, being to strict to the word's literal meaning of actually tracing every line of the drawing. The images in the gif were not fully traced, but a significant amount lines are exactly the same to the point of invalidating any doubt of tracing. Changing a few parts of the work you're tracing to suit your goals doesn't make it not tracing, call it partial or altered tracing if it soothes your autism for literal meanings.
Tracing is just used to describe stuff like those pics and this persona thing, when you copy poses and anatomy and sometimes artstyles as a result(or the traces that make those), rather than copying full designs.
You can learn to draw sonic or pokemon in their original artist artsyles, for example, and if you don't copy already drawn poses or part of poses you're not tracing, if you make a a character similar to sonic but is not sonic but then change some stuff a-la sonichu but then copy a pose that sonic made and just change the arms position a bit to match another pose and still several traces match said original artwork, that's considered tracing.
Tracing or not, stuff like that can get you trouble in court, there's a reason devs constantly cut content from their creations that is even slightly similar that something that already exists.

And when fff fiancé can't answer, Haru makes points on him being huge ass bitch, and how MC is more of worth of man than he is, and if in romance path, she declares her love to MC and that MC loves her in return, unlike fff fiancé, then she goes threaten him with something like if he ever shows up himself in her eyesight or does something pretty fucking stupid, she will destroy him and his family company. Then he pussies out by running away. She then takes a deep breath and calms down. After some dialog she thanks MC for him being there as it gave her courage to stand up to herself.

Every single character in Caligula Effect is more interesting and has a far more grim backstory than anyone in P5. The only ones who come close are Chiya and Sadayo. Everyone else is marshmallow creampuff garbage.
Ryuji has an alcoholic dad who used to beat him and his mom - but they gloss over than in literally ONE line of dialogue.
Ann grew up alienated and mostly alone from neglectful and absentee parents - but this is also glossed over in a singular line of dialogue.
Futaba was abused by her uncle and treated like a dog - but this ALSO is glossed over (in a couple lines of dialogue this time).
Yusuke seems pretty A-OK and not once needs to grieve about being an autistic who was mistreated, sheltered and has his mother murdered.
Morgana is a cartoon cat.
Haru loses her dad, who turns out to have never really loved her (or did but it was over a decade ago and he betrayed her easy, willing to trick out his own daughter to be a sleeve to some politician's son), has to deal with being the new head of a megacorp AND being engaged to a powerful-by-proxy politician's son - but all the character development for this happens OFF SCREEN.
Takemi lost her career to a jealous jerk tricking everyone.

Everything about the character stories in this game is pathetic and lacking with any real depth in the character, aside from Kawakami and Chiya. Makoto was alright but she should have had a story which focused more on her and not her in relation to someone else.
Haru is the WORST because she has the most potential and yet none of it comes through. Sorrow? Penchant for violence? A vaguely yandere thing going on? None of that.
Then again, I didn't even know Makoto was obsessed with motor cycles until I gave her a model one as a gift and she started flying off about the intricacies of the exchangable parts. She's a huge dork for model-building and loves action flicks - but you don't get any of that with her expressed outside of random minute things.
I didn't even know Haru was big on violent stress-relief and had such a crazy side to her until this very post. It's pathetic! She would have been a huge choice for me if I knew she had anything remotely close to a personality.

I have a unlocked vita so I didn't lose anything by playing this besides ~5h of my life. And even then it wasn't entirely wasted because at least I practiced some Japanese because the nip version is the only one that is pirateable.
Either way, the gameplay of Caligula Effect is unbearable. The game feels like an unfinished indieshit mess. Persona 5 is tolerable and sometimes even fun.

The time based combat looks ok and the writer is worked on Persona 1, 2, and 3, but the music is awful jpop and it's seen overall as average. Is the game worth a pirate on a PSTV?

All jokes aside, yes. Caligula Effect is excellent…story and character-wise. Combat is love-or-hate it. Framerate gets terrible at points when there is a lot of action.

A woman's legs (and man's for that matter) can tell you a lot about what genetic predisposition they have towards obesity or otherwise. From what I see, NotSadayo here can very easily become overweight if she is not careful. Notice how her ankles are not as defined as her wrists. They are too thick, and the bones of her ankles are practically invisible.
