Is it good?

is it good?

loli raep

not only are you gay as fuck but you're a dummy too

Best of the series that has been translated at this point. 3rd -> SC -> ToCs 2 -> FC -> ToCS1

Whos raiding the board?

Gambatte mina-san.

It's more likely to be good old fashioned shitposting than a raid.
I don't think I've seen a thread get derailed this fast before, though.

...

There's already a dedicated Falcom thread, so it's not really a loss.

OK so far.

Lurk more?

not really, you are either reading 30 min uninterrupted cut scenes filled with fluff BS or grinding your ass to beat that Boss with a 2 hit kill AOE skill using a very basic combat system, like most Falcom titles its neither terrible or really good, just mediocre game with fairly great music.

Holla Forums entered a thread about how shit the game industry is yesterday, spouted a bunch of bullshit trying to convert people to socialism, got told hard, got butthurt, and thus Holla Forums decided to shit up Holla Forums in retaliation for our hate facts.

anti sage

Get fucking good moron.

Falcom thread cancer is here i see, great job making such a niche community as cancerous as Tumblrtale now fuck off.

I'm only on chapter three so far, and it's pretty good, but not as good as the first two. One of the main draws of the series was it's in depth world building via every single NPC having their own character arc they go through over the course of the game, but so far 3rd doesn't have any real NPCs at all outside of the opening sequence and a few flashbacks.

I think its the Macron election
Shit started right after the result

Still mad you couldn't be Loewe on normal?

Way to hyperbole your way out of your own arguement, faggot. Go back to Neogaf.

Nice try but i´m already immune to such posts.

Hi Anthony

is this now a flat earth thread?

If Nayuta is canon the Trails world is a sphere with a bigass chunk blown out of it.

I hope you faggots are happy.

Nayuta is the crystal chornicles of ffx. It's not canon.

I hate the falcom thread faggots too. They're as autistic and cancerous as undermeme drones, he's rightt.

Meh, I liked it the least of the 3 and least of the 5 Ys6 engine ones. It's dungeon crawling with backstory to the characters, nothing more.

They're also pretty much exclusively the staff of XSEED, who do good work, but are uniformly hysterical women and homosexuals.

It's actually all set up for Cold Steel, which they originally planned to do immediately after Skies.

Really?

I'm fucking loving ToCS1 (vita version) I'm hyped for the other ones now

TiTS1 was fucking hot garbage that was more boring and worse paced than the fucking bible. One of the worst combat systems I've ever seen as well. I have no trust that the 2nd or the 3rd game would be any better. Even if they are I wouldn't play them just because the 1st one was so bad.

TOCS1 is a good game, but the others are just better. The pace is too slow and it is too incomplete.

Go home goon.

Found a falcom thread autist. Stab your eyes with bullets.

How to know when one is just trying to spread bullshiy or has played the games wrong.

For fuck's sake, their 3D games do feature an anti-grinding system: the lower your level, the more exp points you will get from enemies (so you won't need to grind in order to get the required level) and the higher your level, the less exp you'll get (which means grinding to bruteforce through the game doesn't work).

Either you suck or you are playing in Nightmare. And Trails games ARE easy.

Good god you suck.

;^)

Not to mention they get upset if you mention any Falcom game that wasn't published by XSEED, and immediately try to shut down all discussion of it.

The combat system was good. It was basically Betrayal at Krondor mixed with Grandia's turn-order-thing.

DON'T BUY DANA
CHANGING A SINGLE U TO AN A MEANS THE PRODUCT IS WORTHLESS

but i did beat him goon, it was the only fight i liked of both FC and SC, shame it was optional.

but it was not, Falcom threads promote TItS and YS like it's the VERY BEST GAMES EVER MADE IN HISTORY OF MANKIND and get hilarious angry when anyone tells them that they are not that great, the combat system is basic, the absurd amount of reused assets, filled with stereotypes, Estelle and Edgelord Joshua are terrible characters or just about any criticism towards any Falcom games, acting just like NeoFags do and try to shut it down any discussion that is not praise. that said their games are good but not great and while XSEED is filled with goons they usually do good work, for now that is.

Dana was the best game of 2016. That being said, most of the objective stuff of what you said is true, they are overdramatic and trying to sabotage a company they subsist off of for their own profits, which is rather stupid.

Let's say Tokyo Xanadu and Dana do flop in the west. How can XSEED not realize this would damage them as well?

Female I take it.

What the fuck happened?

NISA will undoubtedly fuck it up but "WallCrasher" and "WallCrusher" are both completely fine readings of the japanese text.

You.

Fine digits and absolutely agreed. TiTS 1st, only game of the series I've played, was fucking awful. If your RPG game has a super-slow combat system, you must compensate with the story. If literally nothing happens in the first 10 hours and your combat system is shit, you fucked up very hard.

Nice trips, but comparing this to Grandia on any level is a disgrace. In Grandia 1/2 everything had a purpose and the Counter type move fit it well. Even with all the unskippable 10-30 seconds long fighting cutscenes, the combat was still several times faster than TiTS and the movies at least all looked cool by being super over-the-top. In both Grandia games shit hits the fan relatively quick and even if it didn't, the turn-based jRPG combat system would've made me continue anyway. It is seriously the best turn-based jRPG system I've experienced to date.
Sure, I see some similarity with Grandia but it's small. There were other turn-based jRPGs or at least games with rpg elements which had movement.

They might fuck something with the translation up, but unlike Xseed they have the ability to port PC games and don't take 1-2 years with an inevitable 0.5y-1y delay to translate, and they're still nowhere near treehouse/4-8/fatlus bad. At least they've explained why they fucked that criminal girls game up, something which none of the above bother to do. They've had shown some retarded reasoning ("muh sales, nobody buys AO games"), but it's better than silence.
Even if they fuck shit up one way or another, I'd rather get to actually play the game rather than not because Xseed has no one to port it. PC ports of Disgaeas/Phantom Brave so far were decent so I can't complain.

Anyone knows if pic related is much better than TiTS? Does it improve the fighting system so it's way less slow? I could probably bear through the story being full of not-happenings if the game wasn't shit.

You just played your hand, goon. Suddenly all of your schemes are exposed.

He is wrong about why Atlus is bad. They are bad because they are pandering to the Persona audience and having Day 1 DLC up the ass.

...

I wasn't aware enjoying things is a sign of insecurity. But then again, you'd be the expert.

Yeah, they totally are good. The best, even. Changing whites into niggers like Atlus did during localisations is totally awesome and what I want.
Unless I am mistaking them with someone else in this, in which case I suck dicks when that is concerned.

Aren't they also the ones who ruined that #FE Sessions game from what I remember? Atlus worker was mad at what treehouse did until it turned out it all was Atlus' own doing. Say what you want about NISA, but from what I know they didn't cover up fucking hands yet. I don't want to see what the guy who censored this faps to.

...

Yeah, it was so good I pirated Zero no Kiseki and started forcing myself through it in moonrunes.

Yeah no. I love Grandia and the battle system at its core is a great concept but it falls flat mid-game, where you just spam the same skills over and over again because everything becomes instant and enemies die in 1 hit, completely disregarding positioning, cancelling or other shit. The anniversary edition's hard mode fixed a couple bosses but didn't change much overall. Saying it's the "best" jrpg system just reeks inexperience.
At least TITS has several difficulty levels from the get-go to prevent the game from being a cakewalk if you so choose. And while the earlier games are more unbalanced than the latter ones, I definitely had to do more equipment/party preparation and decision making during fights than Grandia.
Now you're just being dishonest. The fucking lightning/fire aoe spells in Grandia are more than twice as long any Trails animation (minus S-crafts, which are apparently now skippable on PC)

What the fuck are you on? Aren't they bringing CS 1 and 2 to PC?

Fucking kill yourself.

You're a special breed of stupid aren't you. Mindlessly insulting anyone who says anything bad about the game but not actually giving any arguments. Is this what Falcom general is? Should've known that something's off when the fucking threads are named after the developer and not the actual games.

What was so good about it? It was mindless and slow as fuck. I don't remember a single fight from the dozens of hours I played the game.

Best turn-based jRPG system, not jRPG system. And sure, stuff becomes easy with time and sure, come mid game I was just using the best damaging move with shortest animation, but typically just that move was enough to take care of the map encounter and most turn-based games share that problem while only Grandia that I've been played has been so fun at it's most fun.
Care to name a game with a better turn-based system then? One that can't be criticised in a similar fashion as Grandia.

Animation-wise, yes. Overall, slower. At least it was so in the first 10 hours of TiTS when it took me a long time to beat stuff up, but even if you later unlock stuff and moves that actually make the encounters take shorter time, it's the game's fault for being too shit in so long a period of time to make me play longer.

Didn't those games have PC ports to begin with? I clearly remember visiting a falcom thread once with people mentioning Xseed has no one to port. They might've gotten a new guy since to do this in which case yeah I partially suck cocks, but their delays are not really contestable.

So far I've only had their PC ports so I was unaffected by most of that, but I remember reading about those in detail and yeah, that sucks. It's still better than those three above, though I am probably biased since I am certain if I had a PS3 to have that DD2 Laharl Disgaea bug which crashed the game, I would have probably thought the opposite. I wonder if the Japanese version had the same problem though?

It was good for refund

It's too good for today's gaming community. We are not worthy.

To be fair you can't really compare 90s game localisation with today. It was a different time.

Nowadays we get dual audio and weebshit doesn't try to appeal to the mainstream anymore. NISA is a bad apple though.
